Taking a deep breath I entered the workout studio of Joohyuk's parents.

"Hi, how can I help you?" a tall man who seemed to be around his early 30s greeted me.

"I'm a friend of Joohyuk. Is he here?" I asked.

"What do you want?" Joohyuk suddenly appeared next to the man, folding his arms.

"I need to talk to you."

He sighed, "Give me a reason to spend even one second on you."

"Jihye."

Hearing that, he immediately turned around, "Follow me."

"You're late Taehyungie" Yeji welcomed me at my own house.

"How did you come in here?" I took a deep breath to surpress the anger built up inside of me.

"Your mother gave me a key so I could surprise you" she smiled.

"Stop that fake smile of yours, Yeji."

Her expression changed in the blink of an eye, "W-What did you say?"

"You have no idea how much tolerance I had towards your childish behaviour and constant stalking. But you've gone too far. You hurt people who are more than dear to me. I'm telling you this for the last time, so listen carefully," I looked directly in her eyes, "Get out of my life."

"Do you think it's that easy? Do you think your or my parents will let go of this that easily?"

I laughed nonchalantly, "I seriously don't care."

"But-" I cut her off and pointed to the door, "You should know when to stop."

Saturday

Since I was in the need of a break for the sake of my mental health, I decided to spend my weekend at my aunt's place which was a few hours away from Seoul.

Because I used to visit them pretty often when I was younger I knew the area well, hence it was no problem for me to remember the way home from the train station.

It was a nice day in fall; colorful leaves covered the floor and were asked for a dance by the wind.

The weather was perfect for a little walk, even with a broken leg and crutches. Closing my eyes for a short moment and inhaling fresh air I decided to make a detour through the park.

As I was on the way of seeking a park bench to sit down on, my eyes wandered to a little girl on her bicycle. Judging from her uneasiness and frequent shaking it wasn't hard to tell she just learned riding it recently.

Memories of my childhood appeared in front of my sight. I was probably the same age as the little girl when my mother asked my father to go to the park with me and teach me how to ride the bicycle because she had to go to work. Although I told my father I wasn't ready yet, he mercilessly pushed me down a little hill. He told my mother it was my fault and got away with it. I was really hurt.

I caressed the scar on my hand I got from back then, realizing how much stronger I became since that time and smiled unknowingly.

Yes, right. Taehyung was also just a scar I had to overcome in order to get stronger.

As I was absorbed in thought, I heard a quiet whimper. After coming back to reality I realized it was the girl riding the bike. She tried to gulp back her tears after falling off her bicycle.

I hurried to her side and slightly crouched down next to her, helping her to stand up by holding on to her.

"Are you okay?"

After standing up, she directed her gaze on me and nodded, still holding back her tears, "Thank you."

"Shall we sit down somewhere and take a look at your knee?" I pointed at her leg, which leeked a few little drops of blood through her jeans.

She nodded once again.

"Alright" I took her by her hand and guided her to a nearby bench.

She pulled up the right leg of her jeans, reavealing a slightly sore knee.

I fished a little band aid out of my backpack, "Tell your mother to disinfect that when you get home, can you do that?"

She nodded, "Okay."

"You're really brave, do you know that?" I smiled as I leaned forward and put the band aid on her injury.

"Why am I brave?" she wondered quietly.

"Altough you were in a lot of pain, you endured it, didn't you?"

Once again she nodded.

"Being brave is really important" I seated myself next to her, "but when it hurts a lot you can cry, you know. But even if you cry, don't ever forget getting up again afterwards."

"Really? It's okay to cry?" she asked me in a low tone.

I smiled as I nodded, "As long as you stand up again."

"Minyeong!" a beautiful woman with short auburn colored hair who was probably in her 40s suddenly approached us, embracing the little girl as soon as she was near enough.

The woman crouched down in front of the girl, holding her hands, "What happened to your knee? I told you not to go too far, didn't I?"

"I fell down but this unnie helped me to stand up and took care of me" the little girl pointed at me.

The woman smiled brightly as she stood up, "Thank you a lot for taking care of our Minyeongie."

"I really didn't do much" I smiled kindly.

"No, you-" she suddenly stopped as she started chuckling.

Being a little taken aback, I asked her if everything was right.

"It's just that you two are too similar sitting beside each other" she pointed at the little girl Minyeong and me, "both of you are so kind and each of you have an injured right leg. It's kind of cute."

Looking at the little girl and then back at me, I realized she was right. The woman kept on chuckling and infected Minyeong and me. There was just something about her laugh and herself that was really warm and likeable.
