Bang bang bang.

I wake up from my comfortable sleep to someone knocking obnoxiously loud on my front door. Who the hell knocks on someone's door at 2 am?

I think about going back to sleep rather than answering the door, but something tells me this person just isn't going to stop knocking. I've always been afraid of the dark, so I decide to not go downstairs without a weapon. I grab a baseball bat from the hallway closet and quietly walk downstairs. I see a tall figure standing in front of the door. The person has toned biceps which means it's either a guy or a very large bodybuilding girl.

I have the baseball bat ready to swing just in case the mystery person tries to kill me. I wrap my hand around the doorknob and twist it. I pull the door open, a bit shocked at who it is.

"Damn it, Canyon. What the hell are you doing here?" All my fears fade away knowing it is just an idiot that likes to knock like he is the police at 2 in the morning.

"Can I stay the night?" He asks, giving a pleading smile.

"What?" I respond. Does he honestly believe I'm going to let him stay with me?

"Come on, Tyra. It's just for tonight." He begs.

"Go home and sleep there." I try to shut the door, but his foot is blocking it.

"I can't stay there." He says, pushing open the door and walking in. He has a bad habit of inviting himself into other people's house.

"Fine." I say, closing and locking the door.

I walk back up the steps and put the baseball bat back in the closet. I walk back in my room and make myself comfortable on my bed again. My lights turn on, alerting me.
I see Canyon taking off his shirt and tossing it on the floor in the corner.

"What are you doing?" I ask. I don't understand why he's in my room. I don't think I invited him in. Oh wait, he invites himself.

"Getting ready for bed." He says, unbuckling and unzipping his pants.

"You're sleeping downstairs. I don't let dogs sleep in my bed." A devious smile is on my face, while Canyon's is a thin line of disgust.

"I'm sleeping in here whether you like it or not. I'm taking my pants off, too. I sleep in my boxers, so get over it." He kicks his pants in the same corner as his shirt and climbs in my bed. I move myself as far away from him as possible without falling off the bed. He must have noticed because he just moves closer.

"If you're sleeping in here, then don't touch me. If you do, I will burn your hands off. Keep your distance, stupid." I say. Canyon smirks before turning on his side, his back facing me. I do the same and close my eyes for the second time tonight.

My alarm clock wakes me up at 6 am, just like every morning. I try to get out of bed, but something is trapping me. I find that Canyon's arm is wrapped around my waist, stopping me from moving. I gently pry his arm off of me without waking him.

I do my daily routine of a shower. Instead of wearing my hair downt today, I decide to put it in a stylish ponytail. I curl the end that is hanging down in the back. Satisfied with my hair, I walk to my room with my towel wrapped around me.

"I love morning sex." A groggy voice says. Damn! I completely forgot this idiot was here.

I turned around to a smirking Canyon. "In your dreams, pig." I grab my clothes and run to the bathroom to get dressed. I settle on a tight black skirt that ends just above my knees and a red button up, short sleeve blouse and a black tank top underneath. I go with my red pumps to match and some jewelry to accessorize with. A little bit of gold eyeshadow will bring out my outfit. I was happy with the way I looked.

I walked back into my room expecting Canyon to be gone. Of course, he's sitting on my bed. Shouldn't he be at home getting dressed for school?

"Is that what you're wearing to school?" I ask. He's wearing the blue jeans and red Aeropostale shirt he had on yesterday. He looks good, but I don't think wearing the same outfit two days in a row looks good.

"No. I need you to drive me to my place." He says.

"Didn't you drive your car?" I think it would be kind of stupid to walk all the way across town at 2 am, which is why I asked.

"No, I walked. Well, more like ran." He says. Why would he run here? Our houses are at least 15 miles away from each other. He must have good lung expansion.

I decide not to question why he ran here. Instead, I drive him to his house. The car ride was filled with my singing along to the radio.

"You're a really good singer." Canyon says. I just look over at him and smile. My mom was a good singer, too. I guess I inherited her ability to sing.

We pull into Canyon's driveway. He practically jumps out of the car before it stops moving. I wait for him to get into the house before I head to school.

I've been in school for a total of 15 minutes when I heard a bunch of guys laughing. I turn my head to see Canyon and his clique acting like a bunch of 12 year olds. I roll my eyes at them, even though they can't see it.

Canyon breaks away from the group and approaches me. "Thanks for letting me stay the night. I appreciate the kind gesture."

"You didn't exactly give me a choice. What made tou come over anyways?" My curiosity got the best of me this time. I had the right to know why he showed up at my house so late anyways.

"One of my crazy ex girlfriends came over banging on my door. My car was in the garage, but my light was on. She knew I was there and I couldn't just drive my car. She would've followed me. I climbed out my back window and ran as fast as I could to your house. I thought you would tell me no, but I took the chance of asking. So, thank you." I appreciated the fact that he was thanking me, but not that he woke me up at 2 am because of a crazy ex girlfriend.

"You came to my house at 2 am to stay the night because of a crazy ex girlfriend that was banging on your door? What the hell did you do to her? Actually, I don't want to know. Dont let it happen again, dumb ass." I say, slamming my locker door and heading to first period.

The day flew by pretty fast. I didn't have volleyball practice today, which game me some time to hang out with Kylie. I didn't talk to Canyon for the rest of the day. He deserved to be ignored for what he did.

When I got home, I called Kylie and invited her over. She accepted and said she'd be on her way. I had to tell her about the deal with Canyon. She was going to be pissed I hadn't told her sooner. She will get over it though.
