Chase and I started our relationship on the last day of our highschool days. I never thought that he will have feelings for me coz I just can't seem to think of anything that he will like about me. But I am happy when he announced to everyone that we are dating...
I guess at first..
"Hey is your saviour Jason here na?" Tanong ng isa sa mga kaklase ko sa major subject ko. I just looked at her direction and shook my head.
"Good. " she answered. Alam ko na ang ibig nyang sabihin. " It really irritates me everytime na magkatabe kayo sa klase, you know? An Eye sore. Nakakasira ka sa image nya. Especially Chase's image." Dagdag pa nya, hindi ko nalang sya pinansin at nagpatuloy sa pagbabasa ng lessons namin kahapon, may quiz kase kame mamaya kaya kaylangan kong mag-aral.
"Di ko nga lubos maisip kung baket ka nagustuhan ni Chase eh, maybe he's just playing with you" natatawang sabe naman ng isa sa kanila, all the people in class were just watching as they say things that hurt me. Ganto ba ang feeling ng magkaroon ng mga kaibigan at nobyong hindi bagay sa tulad ko?.
"Who's Chase?" Biglang singit ng isang boses sa likod ko. Nilingon ko sya at mukhang familiar sya saakin. He looked down at me at nginitian ako.
"Di mo kilala si Chase Ortega?!" Halatang iritado ang boses nung babae, the guy just shruged and puts his bag on his chair, oh sa likod pala ang pwesto nya.
"Do I have to know him? Is he our dean or something?" Natatawa nyang tanong kaya mas naging iritado ang itsura ng babae.
"If he's not, just shut your mouth. Ang ingay mo. Look around you.. tsk causing a scene early in the morning." Tamad nyang sabe sabay upo sa upuan nya, nilingon nya muli ako at kinindatan. Now I remembered him.. he is Apollo.
Maya maya pa ay dumating na rin si Jason, hahangos pa ito pero napataas ang kilay dahil sa nadatnan nyang katahimikan sa klase. "Wow this is new.." he whispered pagkaupo sa tabe ko.
"Why are you gasping for air?" I asked him dahil pawisan din aya. He leaned on his chair and took a deep breath.
"Practice." He answered. Ang aga naman? And Chase didn't inform me either, kaya siguro di nya nasagot ang text ko kanina.
Jason looked at me and smiled. " don't worry, Chase was just focused on practicing but he said that he'll stop by mamaya." He assured me kaya nginitian ko sya pabalik. Maybe being in a varsity means spending time more on practicing. I need to understand that.
After our first period ay dumating nga si Chase sa klase, as soon as I hear girls squilling I know that he's here.
Tumayo ako at lumapit sa kanya, my feet felt heavy as the gaze of my classmates sticks to my every move. Nang makalapit ako kay Chase ay agad nya akong hinigit at niyakap that made the girls scream and murmur. My face turned red.
"What are you doing?" I asked him dahil ang tagal ng pagkakayakap nya.
"Shhh im re-charging." He answered, kaya natawa nalang ako at hinayaan na sya, the I heard a fake cough from behind.
"Are you the famous Chase?" Tanong pa nya, I know that voice.. thats Apollo.
I felt Chase's hand tightened and he released me from his hugs. " what?" Tanong nya.
"Chase right?" Tanong uli ni Apollo, Chase arched his brows then looked at me.
"Ye. So?" Chase answered. Apollo smirked and looked at me.
"Please take care of your girl, "
"What do you mean?"
"You don't know? Pfft . Just ignore what I said." Apollo answered and just left after,Kaya pati si Jason ay nagtaka.
"Sino yon?" They both asked.
"Apollo." I answered that made Chase frown. Wha?
Dahil doon ay hinila na ako nila Chase sa cafeteria dahil sabay-sabay ang vacant namin. Chase didn't talk.
"What happened to our lover boy?" Natatawamg tanong ni Dennis.
"May LQ kayo?" Amber whispered. I just shrugged and looked at Chase's direction at nagkatinginan kame but then he turned his gaze to the other side. My heart cleanched for a second.
"Oh a hottie 10 o'clock!" Sabe bigla ni Grace kaya wala sa wisyo kameng napatingin ni Amber.
"Oh its that guy " sabay sabe ni Jason, Its Apollo with his group. They are laughing. I looked at his directions at sakto namang napatingin din sya, he waved his hand I don't know to whom though.
"Omg he's waving at me!!" Kilig na sabe ni Grace, Amber just laughed at Grace samantalang ako ay nakaramdam ng matalim na titig , it turns put to be Chase. He is staring at me. Did I do something?!.
"I dont think he's waving at you Grace" natatawang sabe ni Amber kaya agad na nilingon din ni Chase ang direksyon nila Apollo, Apollo then stopped his hand from waving and smirked . Suddenly Chase rose up and dragged me out of the Cafeteria.
"Wtf?" Gulat na sabe nila Dennis.
"Let them be. I didn't know he could be the jealous type." Nadinig kong sabe ni Jason before we left the area.
Nakarating na kame sa field dahil sa paghila nya saakin, I felt tired dahil sa bilis nyang maglakad ay para na akong natakbo. " Ch-Chase whats wrong?!" I asked him but he's not listening.
Mayamaya pa ay nakarating na kame sa garden ng campus, nobody is here except from us. He stopped but still not looking at my direction, I gasped for air dahil sa layo ng narating namen.
"Chase?" I said. But no response, nakadama na ako ng init sa aking mga mata, I think I will cry any minute now..
"Im sor--"
"Im sorry." Pinutol nya ang sasabihin ko. He then turned around and I saw his Face so red. "Sorry. I just don't think I will like this feeling." Frustrated nyang sabe. I took his hand and its so cold!.
"What are you saying?" I asked him.
"Sh*t naman oh!" He answered under his breath. "IM JEALOUS OK?!" he shouted. I was stunned by what I heared. What?
"I hate this feeling that other guys knows something that I don't. That Apollo guy is teasing me !" He added he's all red , that made my heart flutter, I didnt know that he'll feel something like this. I smiled at the thought.
"Why Are you smiling?! Im mad you know?! Im jealous! You should comfort me!" He said but that made my smile more wider. He then 'tsked' at me.
I hugged him from behind.
"Theres nothing to be jealous of. We're just classmates, he just..." I hasitated from continuing kaya nilingon nya uli ako.
"He what?" His tone is serious.
I took a deep breath. "He just defended me when.. those other girls tried to bully me.." I didnt looked at his eyes, but I heard a deep sigh.
"Why didn't you tell me that you were bullied? Who did that to you? Damn I just told Jason to protect you--"
"He did protect me. I just don't want to worry you kaya sinabe kong wag na sabihin sayo.. im sorry" I answered. I just felt his hug right away.
"Please, next time if someone do bad things to you tell me first. Thats what im here for Samantha." He said then kissed my hair, I smiled at him and nodded.
"I love your jealousy face.." I whispered.
"Whut?! Don't you dare ever talk to that Sun God or I'll burn him to a crisp!!" He answered .
"Yes sir." I saluted and laughed after. He sighed the smiled.
"You're enjoying this are you?" He said then held my hand
"A little.." I answered. Then we went back to the Cafeteria.
I just wish Everyday could be this great...
