Today's the last day of the baseball team dito before their training camp bukas, hindi ko tuloy alam kung magiging masaya ba ako o ano dahil one month ang pamamalagi nila doon.
"look at our lover boy being all sulky!" biro ni Amber habang nakatambay kami sa koisk, dahil free day naman namin ay napagpasyahan naming pumasok para lang masamahan sina Chase before they leave.
"what time nga ulit ang alis nyo?" Grace asked.
" 1pm. " sagot naman ni Jason. napatingin naman ako agad sa relo ko, its 11:45 am ilang oras nalang pala.. Nakikita ko na sa quadrangle ang ibang member ng baseball team na inilalagay na ang ilang bag nila sa bus. napalingon naman ako kay Chase ng pisilin nya ang kamay ko.
"haaaayyy" he said , napangiti nalang ako dahil sa inaasta nya, para syang bata, napalingon naman ako sa katapat kong si Jason, he looked serious then he smiled at me kaya nginitian ko na din sya, the atmosphere is so heavy I can't even lift their spirit.
" guys! hindi naman tayo mag-aabroad! we can go home if we want pa nga eh, stop sulking its making my mood bad too!" sabe naman ni Dennis habang niyuyugyog si Jason.
"yeah right" mahinang sabe ni Amber thats why Inakbayan sya ni Dennis.
"I know you'll miss me bu aw--" napa-aray nalang sya ng kuritin sya sa tagiliran neto. Dennis didn't know anything yet about Amber's secret huh?
I looked at Chase and held his cheeks. "look. You have my number and I have yours. we can skype or text or call. ayokong maging distraction sa traning nyo coz I know how important this is for you. I want you to enjoy your month there huh? please smile" I told him at pilit na pinapangiti sya, he sighed and smiled back. I feel lonely even now.
"I wish someone would cheer me up like that too!" pagsingit ni Dennis.
"cheer mo muka mo" sagot naman ni Amber. nilinhon naman sya agad ni Dennis at sinimangutan.
" pag ako nakahanap na ng girl of my dreams Amber tignan mo!" saogt naman nya.
" lahat naman ng babae sinasabihan mo ng girl of your dreams diba? whats new? sino talaga sa kanila?" sagot naman ni Amber saka tumawa. nagkatinginan nalang kame ni Grace sa inaasta ni Amber. She then stood up sabay sabeng nauuhaw daw sya, sumenyas naman si Grace thats why we tag along with her.
"whats with her?" tanong ni Dennis.
"stupid." sagot nalang ni Grace before running towards Amber. I just shrugged then followed them.
when we got to the cafeteria tila nag-uusok padin ang tenga ni Amber sa inis Kaya Grace slightly pushed her. " well.. being to hot today eh?" she asked, Amber just glared at her.
"what happened?" I asked her but she just sighed before staring blankly at the can of drink she has.
"nothing...I..Im just.."
"Paranoid." pagdugtong ni Grace sa sasabihin nya, she just drank her soda then leans on the wall. "She's paranoid since di na sya member ng baseball club, she can't go with the team and check on them.. especially my retarded cousin." matamlay na sabe ni Grace, she crossed her arms then leans on the wall too.
"alam nyo namang womanizer yon.. cassanova.. bachelor.. feeler. narssisist.." Amber added, kaya natawa kame. so She's worried.. I felt a little scared suddenly , whats with this feeling?
"you know this talk won't calm your nerves right? pati si Sam nadadamay sa kanegahan mo." natatawang sabe ni Grace kaya napatawa nanaman kame.
"guess its just us for the next month huh?" sabe ko, they both nodded, but suddenly Grace smirked as she glanced someone at my back, napalingon naman ako.
