I wonder kung kelan pa ko naging dependent kay Chase.. I was so used to being alone kaya nung dumating sya I thought that it would be good for me.. That it would be best for me to be with someone who loves me like I love him.
He still loves me right?..
For sometime ang tanong na yan ay laging nasa isip ko, we never had the chance to talk again after the time sa library, its been 3 days since then. People are circulating the photo of him and Rebecca kissing and I don't know if I should feel sad, threatened or mad... All I can think about is how Chase would end it, sa huli sya naman ang makakapagsabe kung ano ang tunay na nararamdaman nya, he didn't explained the photo of them kissing, He didn't deny or admit to it.
"Sammy! " nawala ako sa iniisip ko nang tawagin ako ni Apollo, he was carrying 2 coffees. "I know malapit na yung finals so I bought coffees! " excited nyang sabe. I just looked at him. He then gave me one of what he bought. " I know you work sa coffee shop and baka sawa ka na sa kape pero its to cheer you up? " dugtong pa nya, natawa nalang ako at kinuha ang kape na binigay nya.
"Thank you"
"Uhmm.. So may gig uli kame this sunday, gusto ko sanang andon ka if its ok? " bigla nyang sabe. Napatigil ako sa paghalo ng iced coffee ko.
" I'll try to ask for Chase first.. "
"Bat? You don't need his approval, he can flirt kung kanino pero di ka pwede pwedeng manood sa gig ng kaibigan mo?! " may inis sa tono nya kaya medyo natawa ako, di ko alam kung matatawa ako sa reaksyon nya o sa balak kong gawin.
"Well...im his Girl—"
"HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA" napigil ang pagsasalita ko nang marinig yung malakas na pagtawa sa likod ko. " sasabihin mo ba girlfriend?! Omg di mo pa ba alam na playtime ka lang nya?! " sabe nung babae sa katabe nya, both of them are laughing.
"Ganon ba?! Maybe i'll look for someone else?! Isa pang sikat sa campus ok ba?! " sagot naman nung isa. I clenched my fist dahil alam kong pinaparinggan nila ako. I don't know kung magrereact ako o hahayaan ko nalang sila. Nang mag-angat naman ako ng tingin nakita kong wala na ang kape ko pati si Apollo sa inuupuan nya.
"Hahahahha ganon ba?!" Napalingon nalang ako ng magsigawan yung dalawang babae at medyo may talsik ng kung ano sa likod ko, napanganga nalang ako ng makitang binuhos na pala ni Apollo ang binili nyang kape sa dalawang babae.
"Omg Pollo! "
"Why anong ginawa mo?! " sigaw nung dalawa, dama ko namang dumadami na ang mga taong pumapaligid saamin. Pilit ko syang hinihila pero malakas sya.
"Why? Why don't you ask yourselves? How old are you at nagagawa nyo pang mangbully?! " iritado nyang sabe.
"Bully?! Nagsasabe lang kame ng totoo! Playti—"
" hey whats happening here?! " nadinig kong sigaw sa may bandang likod. I saw Rebecca clinging to Chase, I felt a pain inside me kaya lalo kong hinawakan ang braso ni Apollo, napatigil naman sya sa boses na narinig nya. Its Jason.
"Tch why does this girl always gets our boys" bulong nung isang babae.
"Maybe she sells herself—" I didn't know what happened but I slapped the girl then run away.
I don't know if someone was following me but I can't do this anymore. I'm tired.

I went to work with my eyes swollen and even if my coworkers asked what happened I don't know how to respond, I turned off my phone after running out of that scene earlier.
Napatigil nalang ako nang makita ko ang customer na kakapasok palang.
"Hi. " she said. I smiled back.
"You know me right? " tanong nya at tumango ako. She smiled back. "Anyway let me order first. " sabe nya pa.
Pagkaserve ko ng inorder nyang americano ay pinigil nya kong umalis. "Can we talk? " she asked. Di ko alam kung ano ang isasagot ko. She sighed.
"Sige, I'll just make this quick. Whats your relationship with Chase? I know magkaibigan kayo but I think theres more than that? Am I right? " may pagka authoritative sa tono nya. I clenched my fist.
"No. There's nothing between us. I don't even know what we are rightnow. " sagot ko bago umalis. Naramdaman kong nangingilid na ang mga luha sa mga mata ko kaya agad akong pumasok sa crew room.

Sa bahay ko na binuksan ang cellphone ko at ang unang tumambad saken ay ang missed calls ni Chase. I just stared at his name. Then tears just started falling without me knowing.
Then my phone rang again. I took a deep breath and answered it.
"Ma?"
" I will be transferred to Canada next month, I want you to come to me"
Nanlaki ang mga mata ko. Its not always that mom contacts me, we're actually not that close since kinasal sya uli at may bago nang pamilya, may kapatid ako na nasa highschool.
"Bat ako? I thought sila tito ang isasama mo if ever? " I asked.
"Well, your sister is still in highschool at ayaw pa nya lumipat. I just thought that you might like it since your course will be much more good if sa abroad mo tatapusin. " she answered.
It took me a while to answer. Then the photo of me and Chase fell of the table when I tried to fix my things.
"I'll think about it. " sagot ko. Then ended the call.
