full name: Eijá Rikkardsson
[First name: apparently finnish with no known meaning except mayyyybe a bit like naming your kid "wow"
Rikkardson: it's "rikkard's son" which i'm fine with
No problems here]
nicknames/titles,etc: no nicknames that stuck, and no particular titles
[n/a would suffice]
general appearance: I imaged Eijá to have a very sharp face structure—thin and pointed nose, high cheekbones, pointed chin, wide forehead, although her forehead is mostly covered by hair which it cut into a blunt, messy pixie cut. Additionally she has light blue eyes, pale skin, slight underbite, and a crooked smile.
[wow, i know a ton about the top two feet of her. I mean, the two feet of her that i know seems fine, but maybe talk about the rest of her?]
role in book: love interest (note: I want to highlight this because in the book you don't really see her deep inner motivation, but rather how she externally expresses herself,
[g o o d]
additionally Padma—the main character, spends more time thinking about her than actually talking to her, there are two versions of Eijá; the romanticized version in Padma's head, and the real Eijá.)
[Seems reasonable.]
general plot outline of book: The main character is Padma Patil during her fourth year at Hogwarts.
[You have my attention.]
The triwizard tournament is going on, which means new students from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang, and that's when Padma meet's Eijá. Padma's been trying to figure out her sexuality since she was nine and had a crush on a cartoon character, but she still has absolutely no idea, Eijá is a stark opposite, she's know since she was seven and has been out and proud since. Most of the book is inside Padma's head and her feelings about her sexuality and her giant crush on Eijá.
[YOU HAVE MY ATTENTION.]
age: 14-15
[I assume this means she has a birthday in the book.]
dob: January 6, 1980
[Checks out.]
height: 5'5"
weight: 135 lb
gender: female (cisgender)
sexual/romantic orientation: 100% lesbian
race/species: Sami (Swedish indigenous race) and some Swedish/Finnish, half-blood witch
school: Durmstrang Institute (it really annoyed me that in the movies it was an all boys school
which is partially why I made her go to Durmstrang rather than Beuaxbaton)
[It wasn't in the books, actually! But yes, drag the film creators. And it's nice to see a non-Hogwarts OC, because, like I say, "JK Rowling made a fantastic universe with millions of possibilities and then focused on like, three english kids which is taking like, half a possibility", which is a long saying.]
house: n/a although if she did go to hogwarts I would say she's a Slytherin
family/pets: Márjá Rikkardsson (mother) Kaleva Rikkardsson (father) no siblings, Beyla (pet northern white faced owl—this name is from norse mythology, which fits into the fact that she's from Sweden, but I don't know how that would fit in with her being a witch)
