Rayne's POV

I couldn't cry. Not anymore. Everything has changed. I'm not wanted. Again.

These thoughts filled my head as I walked, more like hobbled, down the street. We were in the middle of nowhere so I didn't know how long it would take to get back to town and in my state I knew it would take twice as long. I couldn't Rydel's voice out of my head Don't you ever come back I could understand though. I had gotten her brother killed. I let it sink in. He was dead. The only person who I really love. The only person who loved me fore me. I chocked out a sob. No, no more. I thought.Today I was a new person. My old life, it's gone. I've been outcasted. So what was a new start. I had nothing in this life. I was a new person. Rayne Mary Love was dead. She died the day her mom was taken.

I was now Mary Johnston. I guess I was going to start my new life were everybody does in the hospital. Thunder roared over my head. Great, just great. This is just what I needed. It started as a light sprinkle but by the time I was soaked light came from the horizon. My vison started to blur, I was light headed. Probably from blood loss. I collapsed to the ground.

Third Person POV

A black 1967 impala was driving on the road. The driver saw something in the middle of the road. He slowed the car down and saw it was a shape of a body. He got out of the car and appoarched, he saw it was a girl. She was bloody, brusied and her arm was laying in an akward angle. She was soaked, probably form the storm that had just passed though. He checked for a pulse, there was one but it was faint. What would a girl be doing out here in the middle of nowhere? He picked her up gently and put her on the backseat of he car. He drove to the hospital and took her in. The doctors did the best they could. The man didn't know weither to stay or go. He had told the police everything he knew. Now they had to wait for the girl to wake. She had lost a lot of blood and the man had donated some for her. She only seemed around sixteen. It was well passed noon when the girl awoke screaming.
