Laying in bed munching on a bag of potato chips, Aaliyah watched t.v. She's been in her room for a week. She's still been trying to wrap her head around the fact that she's pregnant. Aaliyah opened the drawer that she kept her sonogram in and looked at the picture. She traced over the picture with her index finger as a tear fell from her grey eyes, filled with worry. She knew she had to tell Jayceon, but she wasn't ready to talk to him. Hes been calling her for at least twenty times a day, she understands he wants to talk, but after seeing him and Amber, she had nothing to say.

"Liyah. Come here." she heard Lauren yell. Sighing, Aaliyah placed the sonogram back in the jar before walking downstairs. She saw Lauren standing there with a bouquet of flowers and a card.

"These are for you." Lauren handed the beautiful flowers to Aaliyah. She smiled, but as she looked at the card it dimmed. She had a feeling he sent them.

"Aww Liyah, he's trying to talk. Stop running away from him, he loves you and you love him. Stop making things complicated." Lauren lectured. Aaliyah sighed, 'things are already complicated.' she thought to herself.

"You ok?" Lauren asked. Aaliyah nodded her head. She grabbed the flowers and walked to the kitchen with them. She grabbed a glass vase and sat the flowers inside and sat them on the table.

"You know we have to go to Sunday dinner tomorrow right?" Lauren asked her cousin, Aaliyah didn't say anything, she just grabbed a snicker out of her pantry and opened it. Lauren noticed she's been eating a lot lately, and she hasn't been going to the studio, and also her face has a radiant glow, she knew something was going on, but she couldn't put her finger on it.

"Why are you staring at me like that?" Aaliyah finally asked. Lauren snapped her eyes up and looked at her cousin, "You're going to get fat. Stop trying to eat your problems away." Lauren stated.

"I'm fine." Aaliyah said before trudging out of the kitchen and back upstairs to her room.

Meanwhile, Jayceon has been going through hell trying to get to Aaliyah. He sent flowers to her house, and he knows she's there because Lauren said she'll give them to her. But he needed to see her himself, "Baby, my little girl loves you. She's just scared that's all." Aaliyah's mama, Nancy said.

Jayceon sighed shaking his head. "Well I just want to be there for her. I love your daughter, I'm still beating myself up about what happened that day. Aaliyah's my future, I want to spend the rest of my life with her. I love her. I just want to fix it." Jayceon explained. Nancy looked at the young man as a smile graced her lips. Jayceon reminded her a lot of her husband Gary. They had ambition and they fought for what they wanted.

"I'm home!" a deep masculine voiced boomed through the house, Nancy's grin became wider as she watched her husband walk into the house with his suitcase.

"I missed you." nancy cooed as she kissed her husband. Jayceon sat and watched the old couple, hoping that him and Aaliyah could be like that.

"Gary, you remember Jayceon." nancy asked as she led her husband over to his favorite recliner next to the couch her and Jayceon sat on.

Gary nodded his head as he looked at the young man that broke his daughter's heart four years ago.

"How do you doing Jayceon?" Gary asked.

"I'd be better if I could see your daughter. She's been ignoring me for a month now. I don't even know what I did. She won't talk to me." Jayceon spoke.

"Son let me tell you something. I'm not fond of you talking to my daughter after what happened, but I can look in your eyes and see you love her, that's the same look i have when I look at my wife. Now, I was once in the same position as you, Nancy just fell off the face of the earth, she stopped answering my calls, she wouldn't come to the door when I knocked, she ignored me, but one day I caught her off guard, at her cousins party. When we talked there, we got all of our problems settled. Now we're married and had two kids out of the whole ordeal." Gary spoke. Jayceon nodded his head understanding what Gary was trying to say.
