Chapter 28

A month later ;

Aaliyah got out of bed and started downstairs. She walked into the kitchen to whip up a nice breakfast for her and Jayceon. Today was the day they meet with some wedding planners. She was so excited, she has waited ten months before she started planning. She couldn't wait to be Jayceon's wife and live out her dream.

She turned the stove on so she could prepare their breakfast. She soon heard the cries of JJ. She sighed before turning the stove on low and going to tend to her baby. She walked in and he was laying in his crib crying his little eyes out. She picked him up and rocked him as she walked back downstairs. She grabbed a baby bottle out of the fridge and warned it up as she continued cooking breakfast.

After his bottle was warm enough, she fed the hungry baby. He then layed his head full of curly hair on her chest as he dozed back off. Aaliyah walked over and sat him in his bouncer.

She walked back in the kitchen and finished cookin breakfast. When she was done she heard footsteps from upstairs. She smiled as she saw Jayceon walk towards the kitchen.

"This for me?" he asked as he wrapped his arms around her waist and gazed at the food. Aaliyah nodded her head. Jayceon kissed the side of her head. He sat down and Aaliyah served him breakfast.

"So today we meet with the planners." Jayceon smiled.

"Yes, I'm so excited. I've been ready to get this whole thing started. I can't wait till I'm officially your wife." Aaliyah stated with a smile. Jayceon reached across the table and grabbed her hand.

"We don't need any papers to claim that we're together baby you been mine since the moment I met you. And you'll forever be mine." Jayceon sweetly, but truthfully said. He doesn't plan on losing Aaliyah like he had done before. He plans on being the husband and father he needs to be.

"I love you." Aaliyah quietly said.

"I love you more baby girl." Jayceon kissed her hand. The two continued to enjoy their breakfast.

After breakfast Jayceon did the dishes while Aaliyah got herself and JJ ready for the day. JJ was going to spend the day with Jayceon's mom Donna while he and Aaliyah go see the planner.

"Look at my lil man." Aaliyah cooed as she dressed JJ. He was gurgling and blowing spot bubbles as he kicked his little legs.

"All finished." She said as she snapped his shoes closed. He gurgled some more. She picked him up and bounced him up and down on her lap.

"Y'all ready?" Jayceon asked. Aaliyah nodded her head. She picked up JJ's baby bag and her phone. She carried a happy JJ out to the car as they followed behind Jayceon.

"Jayce, have you talked to Amanda lately?" Aaliyah asked. Jayceon nodded his head, "I actually just got off the phone with her. She's doing fine, her next appointment is Tuesday and her dad wants to meet me." He said as he took JJ from her and strapped him in.

Aaliyah nodded, "So when will you meet him?" she asked. He shrugged, "I don't know he's supposed to be calling me."

"Okay, let's go." Aaliyah said changing the subject. Jayceon double checking to make sure the baby was strapped up. He closed the door and got in the driver's seat. He pulled out of the driveway and along the the city streets.

"You lookin good." Jayceon said as he glanced at Aaliyah. She smiled, she wore a white knee length dress with nude heels. Her long curly hair was pulled up into a tight bun and she wore no makeup except mascara. That's what Jayceon truly loved about her, she was beautiful with no makeup, she was just a natural.
