Old Flames

[ Chapter 25 ]

Aaliyah rolled overand was face to face with the love of her life staring back at her. His eyes full of worry and depression. She reached out and touched his cheek and gave a soft smile. He grabbed her soft delicate hand and kissed it.

"I love you baby." He whispered. Aaliyah smiled, those three words always set her heart ablaze. Those three words made her happy, they made her day, those are the three words that keep them so bonded.

"I love you too baby." She kissed his cheek and he pulled her ontop of him. She laued her head on his chest as she played with his tattoos. She listened to the thumping of his heart and relaxed to the touch of his skin grazing her bare back.

"I got a call this morning from Amanda and a lawyer. She wants to put me on child support." Aaliyah froze as anger took over. She really didn't like Amanda. The woman was cruel and disrespectful.

"But you don't even know if the baby is yours." Aaliyah reasoned. Jayceon shrugged, "That isn't going to stop Amanda. And with the lawyer she got, I might end up paying her child support."

Aaliyah hated when jayceon got down. She looked into his eyes giving another hopeful smile. "Baby you have me through whatever. I will always be by your side. I'll be your strength, your hero, your faith your light, anything you need." It was good for jayceon to hear those words coming from his future wife.

"Thanks baby." He gave her a quick peck which escalated into a deep kiss that had them tasseling in the covers.

"Uh uh, no sex." Aaliyah reminded Jayceon. He frowned but got off of Aaliyah. He walked into the bathroom leaving Aaliyah in the room alone. She heard the shower running and got out of bed. She walked down the hall to JJ's room to see him sleeping with a bottle on the side of him. She smiled at her little man before brushing a hand across his face. She walked out and walked into the guest room to freshen up a little.

Walking out she heard Jayceon on the phone. He was smiling so it was good news, "Ok thanks man. "

"What?" she asked walking over to him. He smiled harder, "That was my lawyer. Amanda can't put me on child support until the baby gets here because we're not sure if it's my baby." Aaliyah smiled.

"That's great!" Aaliyah said as she hugged him. Jayceon hugged her back. It looked like things were starting to look up for him. He has his own family, and now he can start planning out the rest of his life.

"You know you need to get started on this wedding planning stuff. I'm ready to officially make you my wife." Aaliyah smiled.

She was ready to be Mrs. Jayceon Richards. She's been waiting since the night he proposed. No scratch that she's been waiting since they became official in high school. Since the night she gave him all of her. Aaliyah has always been ready.

"I love you."

"I love you too." Jayceon said as he planted a kiss upon her cheek.
