Chapter 31

Aaliyah lounged around in her living room with a smile on her face. Today was her off day, no dance studio, no photo shoots, Jayceon took JJ out with him and the boys. She had the house all to herself.

She looked around and stood up deciding to clean a little. She washed the dishes, cleaned out the refrigerator, mopped the floor, cleaned up the living room and did a little rearranging, she cleaned the nursery, made sure the guest room was put together, and cleaned the master bedroom and the bathrooms.

That took all of four hours. Aaliyah smiled with satisfaction of her work. She walked to the kitchen to start preparing dinner. She decided on steak and baked potatoes with stuffed bell peppers.

She got all the stuff out to cook when her cell starting ringing. She reached in her pocket and pulled out her phone to check her caller ID and saw that it was her brother Aaron.

"Hey big brother." Aaliyah smiled, "Hey little sister, I was calling to see if you can watch AJ for me."

Aaliyah smiled," Of course, you know AJ my baby." Aaron told her he'll be over shortly before ending the call.

Aaliyah continued cooking and started plating the food when jayceon walked in. "Ooh baby cooked for me." He said as JJ bounced around in his arms.

Aaliyah smiled walking over and kissing Jayceon's cheek and taking jj out of his arms.

"I missed my babies today." She cooed.

"He missed you too, as well as I. He threw a temper tantrum when he realized you weren't there. You got him spoiled."

"No I don't." She smiled as she kissed all over JJ's face. Jayceon smirked before walking into the kitchen grabbing a bottle of water before sitting at the table, aaliyah followed shortly after.

"Baby, this looks good." Jayceon complimented her as he looked over the food. Aaliyah smiled, "Thank you baby."

They bowed their heads to pray before starting on their meal.

"So how did it go with the boys?"

"It was good, your cousin is a fool, but it was good." Aaliyah smiled as jj fell asleep in her arms. She continued to rock him as her and jayceon continued to eat and converse.

"What you do all day?"

"I cleaned and cooked." Jayceon looked around and noticed the house looked a lot cleaner, but he figured that's too much for her to do. M

"You shouldn't have to do that." He told her sincerely.

Aaliyah shook her head dismissing what he was about to say next because it doesn't make sense. She doesn't need a maid when she has hands and feet that work fine.

"Fine Li."

Aaliyah smiled because yet again she wins an argument. Jayceon shakes his head as he continues eating.

After dinner, Jayceon washed dishes while aaliyah showered and got ready for bed. She had an early morning at the studio in the morning, plus a lunch date with the girls.

She tied her long black hair into a ponytail before going to go check on JJ. She peeped in to see he was sound asleep. She crept out only to bump into Jayceon.

"That ass." Jayceon smirked. Aaliyah hit his chest as she lightly laughed. She walked around Jayceon and he followed.

Aaliyah started to climb into bed, but Jayceon grabbed her by the waist. "Why it feel like you don't wanna talk to me?" He pouted.

"Baby that's not it. You know I love you, its just I have an early morning session at the studio and Im going to lunch with the girls. Plus I been up all day cleaning, im just exhausted." Jayceon could see the exhaustion in her eyes as he stared at her.
