Chapter 22 | The Grand Ball of CFG

Reader POV

We were in the gym & were setting up for the Ball, I was on a ladder setting up the disco ball while Kim was holding the ladder. When it was in place I told Kim I was gonna jump, he thought I was bluffing but when I jumped he spread his arms & I landed in them

"Thanks!"

"That was crazy!"

"But you caught me~!" as he put me down I saw that he was staring at Alix, a smirk made its way onto my face "You wanna ask her out to the ball?" he slowly nods with a blush forming

"I do but I don't know how to approach her." I suddenly pull a rose out & put it in his hands, he looks at it confused but I shove him towards Alix. He glares at me but I give him a thumbs up, he walked towards her & they started to talk. He gave her the rose & she blushed while looking at it, she then nodded & hugged him, he came back with a love sick smile

"Did it work?" he slowly nods again

"Yep." I punch his shoulder

"Told you it would!"

"No you didn't, you just handed me a rose & pushed me over to her."

"That's how I said it." he rolled his eyes before hugging me, I pat his shoulder & he walked away with a grin spread across his face. Someone then tapped my shoulder & when I turn around, I glare at her "What do you want Vicki?"

"I wanted to say sorry, for everything."

"You think a sorry is going to fix everything you did to me? You think a sorry is going to fix what you did to our family?" I ask as my voice started to get louder

"No. I know I can't fix what I did in the pass but, I'm sorry for ruining the photo you loved so much. That's why I asked Nathanael to fix." my eyes widened

"Y-You asked him?" she nodded "Thanks."

"Your welcome little sis." she then ruffled my hair, which made me laugh

"But it doesn't mean I trust you fully or you'll be living with me, you'll have to work your way up to make me forgive you fully." she nods again with a smile forming

"I promise!" I smile & hug her, I've been waiting this moment ever since I was little "I've finally gotten a hug from you!"

"Same here."

"Oh Vicki, there you are. Ditch your lame sister & come hang out with me." Chloe had said as she grabbed Vicki's arm, she snatched it back & made Chloe confused

"Sorry Chloe, but I'm not gonna hang out with you if you diss my sister again." that took Chloe aback, she looked at me & glared at me, I simply smirk at her "Later gator." Chloe shrieked & stormed off

"Thanks Vicki." 

"No prob sis." we sat on the bleachers & started to talk, this is like a dream come true, Vicki has never been this nice to me like, ever! She apologized about the time where she pushed me in the mud, where she stole my teddy bear, where she cut my hair... There's a lot of mean stuff she's done to me so, hush

"Whoa, looks like [Y/N] has finally forgiven Vicki." I look up & saw Adrien, Alya, Nino & Marinette "When did this happen?"

"Couple minutes ago, but I haven't forgiven her fully." Vicki nods in agreement "But she's getting there."

"Hey [Y/N], you wouldn't mind is me & Alya would come over to your house so we can get ready for the ball?"

"No I wouldn't, it'd be cool too!" they both grin
