Chapter 28 | Going to The Beach

Reader POV

Its been a few weeks & I'm finally out of that cast, I was running around for a couple hours but when I stopped I was huffing & puffing

"Since your able to walk around without crutches, how about all five of us go to the beach?"

"Yes! I agree 100%"

"I do too."

"Then tomorrow we should go to the beach, its alright noon so... where should we meet up?"

"Adrien's."

"What? Why mine?!"

"Cause you take the longest." he blushes & hides behind me

"Do not...!" we all laugh. I wrap an arm around Adrien & smile at him, he smiles back & wraps an arm around my waist

It was the next day & I was super excited, I got everything ready & brought food with me. Ame was flying around my head again but flew into the picnic basket when Johann came by

"Where do you think your going?" I face palm

"Omigod I totally forgot to tell you, me & my friends are going to the beach & I was wondering if you can give me a lift to Adrien's house." he sighed back but smiled

"Sure." I smile & hug him

"Thanks Johann!" I get into his car & he started the engine, then drove off to Adrien's house. When I got there I only saw Nino there

"Hey dudette, you feeling better?"

"I wouldn't be here if I wasn't." he chuckled "Jeez your right, Adrien is taking forever."

"I got here a few minutes ago, but if your asking me, the girls are taking forever." we sat down at Adrien's doorstep & waited... & waited... & waited

"Omigod! Where the hell are they?!" the suddenly opens & we see Adrien, he smiled

"Sorry I took for awhile."

"A while?! You took forever!" then the girls come, but with them came Nathaniel "Now where have you guys been?"

"Marinette wouldn't stop complaining that she wanted Nathaniel to come, we went over to his house & invited him. He agreed, yet we had to wait for him to get ready. Then when he was we all went & got food."

"You don't mimd, do you?"

"Of course not."

"Lets hurry up, [Y/N] & I have been waiting for to long & we're both getting sweaty just waiting in the god for saking sun!"

We went on a bus cause I think if we go in a limo, its gonna be even more hotter. The bus ride was fun cause we started playing some games

"So how it goes is that one of us has to be the so called DJ, they call out a word, genre, artist, song title or something called "finish the lyrics". To get a point the other players have to slap their knee or thigh."

"Okay, so who's gonna be the DJ?"

"I will!" Nino yelled "Okay, song title. Stop! Wait a minute. Fill my cup put some liquor in it. Take a sip, sign a check~" Marinette slapped her knee hard, & it went red but she said

"Uptown Funk!" we all laugh when we see her rub her knee

"Correct baby blue." she had this thinking face on until she let up

"Name the artist, I'm And all the kids cried out, "Please stop, you're scaring me" I can't help this awful energy. God damn right, you should be scared of me! Who is in control?~" this time Nathaniel slapped his thigh

"Halsey?"

"Yep!" the game went on for awhile & not being that mean, hearing these guys sing make my ears wanna bleed. They agree that they can't sing but you know, me being the person I am told them they could, now that sounds kinda mean

"Oh come on you guys, some of the songs you guys are singing, I don't even know!" I whine, they smirk at me

"More points for us then." I groan

Third Person POV

"Okay I think I have one." this time it was Adrien's turn & he'd be thinking for awhile, until he finally made up his mind "Finish the lyrics. My problem, I never was a model, I never was a scholar, But you were always popular~" before anyone could answer it, a voice to great revealed itself

"You were singing all the songs I don't know, Now you're in the front row 'Cause my song is popular! Popular, I know about popular! It's not about who you are or your fancy car, You're only ever who you were Popular!~" they all stare at [Y/N] "What?"

"When could you sing so well?!" she shrugs her shoulders

"I don't really know, last time I did sing was with Adrien." they look at Adrien "& he could sing."

"Whats up with you now?!"

"Maybe cause it was hot & I'm tired?" he sounded more like a question, Nathaniel looked out the window & smiled

"Hey you guys, we're here!"
