Chapter 43 | I Need You

Adrien / Chat Noir POV

~ Dream ~

Ladybug & I were running up the stairs with two others by our sides, one wearing a turtle outfit while the other was a fox, the fox kinda reminded me of Volpina *shudder*. There was no sight of Lady Acuda so I was a little worried, that was until we made it to the roof. She was trying to persuade or talk to... I don't believe it! Hawkmoth

"I know how you feel Hawkmoth, I lost the two people I love but I moved on." she dropped her weapon & start walking closer to him "Its okay, just move on, at least you still have your son."

"Your right," I then noticed he had a sword in his hand "But I'm not like you, & my son still needs his mother!" he then thrusted his sword through her chest

"LADY ACUDA!!" I was going to run towards her but she stopped me

"N-No Hawkmoth, what you son n-needs... is you."

"But I'm not good enough the raise him on my own." he ripped her necklace off & kicked her off the edge while taking the sword out of her, but before she fell off, she ripped his brooch off & fell off the building 

"NO!! LADY ACUDA!!" I reach my hand out to her but she was already falling, tears appeared & when I whipped my head around to see who was under the mask... I woke up

~ Awake ~

"[Y/N]!!" I jolted up awake & start breathing heavily with sweat forming on my forehead, I look around & noticed I wasn't in my room, I was still at [Y/N]'s house but... where is [Y/N]? I then hear snoring, I look over & see she was on the ground with a blanket on & earphones while listening to music

"Why isn't she in her bed?" I reach out to her but then felt something wet run down my face, I touch my cheeks & felt tears. I wipe them away but more appeared & soon enough I started crying, which turned into a sob, I didn't notice but [Y/N] seemed to have heard & looked over at me

"Adrien? Adrien, why are you crying?!" she came over to me & as she sat down the bed dipped, she reached her arms out to me but I already brought her into a hug. She seemed shocked at first but slowly hugged me back while rubbing my back "Whats wrong Adrien?"

"... I-I had a nightmare!"

"About what?" I didn't answer, I hear her sigh but feel a warm smile creep up onto her face "Its alright, you don't have to tell me if you don't want too." I then tightened my grip around her

"Please... don't leave me!"

"I would never, leave you behind." I smiled at that, she made me look up so she could wipe the tears away, soon enough I start coughing "Plus you lied to me, your ass got sick so your taking my bed."

"No no, I can't."

"To late, your already in it! Also I don't mind! Plus, the others also got sick... whops." she gently pushed me down & I was lying down in her bed "Get well Adrien, cause you ain't leaving this bed until you do."

"Alright." she kissed my forehead & went back to sleep on the floor, I cough again but stair at the ceiling & remember my dream

'Who is Hawkmoth? Why did I have a dream of [Y/N]... dying? Don't tell me its gonna happen in the future & that I'm going to... lose her.'

Reader POV

Say its been a two days & Adrien was slightly better but he was asleep on my bed, I was sitting at my computer & was searching up random stuff when I heard a scream, I turn around & it wasn't Adrien, it must be from a akuma attack

"Argh, I'm gonna have to do this on my own! Ame: Scales out!" he got sucked into my necklace & we transformed into Lady Acuda, just as I was about to jump out of my room I glance at Adrien "I'll be back, I promise." & I was out the window, I landed on a roof & saw that this guy had a suit that was pure white

"I am Professor Light! Give up your miraculous Lady Acuda &-- where are the other two?"

"They're sick."

"Hmm, then getting yours might be easier then I thought." he blasted light at me but luckily I dodged it, I jumped off the roof & was able to kick him in the jaw, sending him flying into a building

"You better think again." that's when I heard someone sneeze, I turn around & saw... "LADYBUG?! what are you doing here?! Your suppose to be in bed!"

"N-No! I can help! I-I can just--" she cut herself off when she threw up, I cringed 

"Ladybug! Go back home & rest! I can take care of this!" just as I said that I side step when another beam of light was sent my way, I start fighting Professor Light when all of a sudden something was thrown at my head "What the hell?!"

"Sorry! I wasn't a-aiming for you! Wait, look out!"

"Huh?" just as I turn around all I could see was a bright flash of light, I scream in pain & fall to the ground. I start blinking rapidly but I couldn't see anything, everything was so goddamn bright

"Lady Acuda?! Are you alright?!"

"I-I don't know! Where are you Ladybug?!" 

"The same place you last saw me!" I try looking up but it was just the same, everywhere I look its just... white 

"Ladybug... I-I don't think I can see anymore!"

"What do you mean you can't see?!"

"It means she can't see, it seems that my light was able to make her go blind." that's when I started to freak, that's when I heard Ladybug land on the ground next to me

"I am so sorry Lady Acuda, I-I fix this!"

Time Skip 

A few minutes later & Ladybug was able to deevilize the akuma but I was still blind, she helped me up & took me back home. I detransformed & I heard Ame flying around me, I lightly laugh

"This isn't funny [Y/N]! You can't see & you find it as a joke?!"

"Not really, I'm probably blind temporarily, calm down Marinette." that's when another voice piped in

"Your blind?!"

"Oh hey Adrien, your sounding well."

"I'm over here."

"Oh..."
