Chapter 42 | Sick

Adrien POV

Its been a couple days & [Y/N] was pretty much sick & she couldn't go to school, I practically begged my father to let me look after her. Since he knew her mother & they were great friends, he let me look after her so I got to ditch school, awesome

Johann made pumpkin soup & handed it to me, where I went upstairs to [Y/N]'s room. I open the door with my foot & walk in, [Y/N] had a ice pack on her head while a blanket that stops up to her neck. I walk over to her & see she was still pretty red with sweat all over her face, she opens her eyes & when she sees me, she smiles

"A-Adrien... shouldn't you be at school?"

"I begged my father to let me look after you remember? After all," I kiss her forehead "I do love you, mi'lady." she lightly laughed but coughed in the end

"How cheesy." soon enough Plagg pops out

"Did someone say cheese!"

"Plagg!"

"[Y/N]~! Can I have some camembert cheese~?" I glare at him but [Y/N] giggled

"Sure, there's s-some in my bag." he then hugs her cheek

"Your the best!" he flew over to her bag & starts eating it, soon enough Ame joins along but has strawberries, I grab a chair & set it next to [Y/N]'s bed & sat down

"Now, say ah~" 

"Ah~" I fed her the soup until it was halfway finish "I'm not a child so can you s-stop saying ah..." she then started to shiver, I pull the blankets up a little more since she moved them down

"Okay mi'lady." I then kiss her forehead, then on the lips

"You shouldn't do t-that or... y-you'll get sick."

"I won't get sick! I mostly get sick when I'm near feathers!" I then hop onto the bed with her & start cuddling her

"A-Adrien I'm serious, the sickness I-I have is very contagious..."

"Don't worry [Y/N], I promise you I won't get sick." I kiss her on the cheek & started cuddling her even more, she then sighed & wrapped a arm around me

"Alright, but i-if I'm right..."

"You won't be...!" I look at her with kitten eyes & she smiled

"O...kay." she then fell asleep, after a couple minutes I fell asleep with her

Reader POV

I wake up with a yawn & I stretch, I yawn again & I feel much better then before! Hell I don't think I'm sick anymore! I still have a runny nose & a little headache but I'm much better now! I hope out of bed & C.J followed me, I made soup for myself & started eating or drinking it downstairs

"[Y/N] your up!" Johann called & hugged me "Feeling better?"

"Slightly, just a runny nose is all."

"Is Adrien still here?"

"I think so, maybe he's still asleep in my room." he nods with a smile & walks off, I go back upstairs & hear coughing, I had a confused l look & when I walk into my room I see Adrien in my bed & was gripping the covers

"Oh no..." I go over to him & see his face was very red "You liar, I knew you were going to get sick." I put my hand to his forehead & felt her was burning up it look like he was freezing so, I pull the covers up

"Looks like Adrien has your sickness [Y/N]." Plagg then laughed, Ame then smacked his head "Ow!"

"This is not a laughing matter Plagg! He's also your miraculous holder!" I sigh

"Enough you two, Ame can you give me my phone?"

"Why?"

"I need to tell his father." Plagg then suddenly flies up to my face while waving his tiny little paw hands in my face "Whats the matter?"

"Do you know what his father does to people if they do something to his son?!"

"Nope."

"Exactly! Don't tell him!"

"I have to Plagg, if it means that I have to go through a lecture then so be it." he nods & moves away from my face, Ame passes me my phone & I start typing in the numbers, soon enough the phone starts to ring

"... Yes? This is Gabriel Argreste speaking."

"Hello sir, this is [Y/N] Kaige."

"Ah  Miss Kaige, its a pleasure talking with you. I knew your mother, we were great friends."

"Really? That's awe-- wait wait! I have a reason that I called you!"

"Okay, I'm listening."

"Its about your son, I think your aware that I was very sick & that my sickness was very contagious. He knew that it was but he still wanted to stay near me, which caused him to get sick."

"That boy, I'll call someone over to pick him up."

"Wait sir! You wouldn't mind if, I looked after him."

"...*sigh* Alright Miss Kaige, I trust you that you take good care of my son. When he is healthy I want him back him."

"Yes sir, of course."

"Goodbye Miss Kaige & have a good afternoon."

"Will do sir." I then hung up "That wasn't so bad, I don't know why you were so worried Plagg. He seems very nice."

"Nice to you that's for sure!"

"Hmm, I'm gonna call the others & tell them I'm well while he's not." I start calling Marinette & I let it ring, which actually took for awhile "She usually doesn't take this long."

"Hello? Who is this?"

"This is [Y/N], is that you Marinette?"

"Sorry but this isn't, she's sick [Y/N], same with the others." 

"Oh no..."

"Marinette is currently in bed, well, throwing up." I face palm

"Thanks for noting me Miss Dupin Chang. Say hello to Marinette for me!"

"Will do deary! Have a nice afternoon!"

"That's exactly what Adrien's father said." & I hang up, I look at Adrien & see he was sleeping while breath both heavily & softly "Man he's a deep sleeper... I wonder what he's dreaming about."
