Chapter 14 | Trip to The Aquarium

Reader POV

Its been a few weeks since my birthday & its been pretty calm. Not so many Akuma attacks, Chloe's laying off for a bit but that's strange

"Hey [Y/N]! You lost in thought again?" I nod

"Its been quiet... to quiet."

"Why don't you go on patrol?" I groan "What now?!"

"I have no idea!" he sighs but suddenly flies under my pillow, I sit up & out in the rain was the man himself, Chat Noir "C-Chat?" I open my balcony windows & he comes in

"H-Hi [Y/N]." I stare at him

"How do you know my name?" he sadly chuckles to himself

"Nearly everyone in paris loves you." he said in a sad voice, & soon enough he burst into tears & hugs me "I'm such a disappointment to my father!" I slowly hug him back & pat his head

"How? If your father knew what you did as Chat Noir, I know he'll be very proud that his son... is a hero of paris." he cries even more & tightens his grip on me, I rub circles on his back "There there."

"Thanks... your sorta the... o-only person I trust." he said as we break the hug

"What about Ladybug & Lady Acuda?"

"I don't know who they are silly." & he pinched my nose, I blush & swat his hand away

"That hurts!" we started to talk for awhile until we heard a beep, he looked at his ring & sighed

"Until we meet again," he then handed me a rose "My beautiful rose~" then he was gone, I blush a little & stare at the rose

"I thought he'd never leave." I chuckle as I set the rose in a vase

"Oh shut up."

Next Day

I sat next to Adrien & Marinette today cause the lovebirds wanted to have some alone time, if you know what I mean. Adrien was in the middle of us & he started yawning

"Did you get any sleep Adrien?" Mari nodded in agreement while her face turned red

"Sorta *yawn* no reason to be worried." I giggled

"Who said I was worried?" he seemed to have blushed & so he looked away, which made me laugh "Your so cute when you blush." once I said that, everyone stared at me in shock. Marinette kinda glared at me while Adrien blushed even harder

"What? Was it something I said?"

"Its exactly what you said!" now we all stare at Mari in shock, before things could get uglier,  the teacher walked in

"Okay everyone, the principle has agreed that we all can go to the aquarium." we all cheer "Now I need all of you to listen for the groups. Nino, Alya, Adrien & [Y/N]."

"Yes!" we all high five, she went on with the group of people & when it got to the end... this happened

"Lastly we have Zywane, Blake, Marinette, Sabrina & Chloe." we all gasp "Is that wrong." soon enough they came over & started to whine

"We don't wanna be with Chole~!" I pat their heads

"Have mercy on your souls." they nod & sulk at the same time

Third Person POV

They all got onto the bus &  everything went into chaos, not exactly chaos but it was loud as hell! [Y/N] sat next to Adrien, which got Marinette a little upset but she let it slide

"You two seem really excited." the four say as they look at [Y/N] & Adrien who were bouncing up & down in their sits

"Its been awhile since the last time I've been there cause I used to go when I was a little kid." Adrien looks at her

"Same." they blink at each other before looking away "When I was a kid I usually went with my mum & that was a lot of fun." she pats his back "When my dad came, he made it even more fun." she sighs

"I'm sorry that your mother is gone, mine is too but... I always know that she loved me." she said as she stared at the scarf around her neck

"If you two can stop with the sad talk, we're here now." they look up & see the aquarium, they all got off the bus & split up to their groups

"Look at all the fish!" [Y/N] had pointed to most of them & named in a instant

"Someone seems to know their fishes." she nods rapidly, then gasps

"Its Nemo!" the all laugh

"Hey, lets get a group selfie with Nemo." they all went in front of the tank & took a selfie, Nino & Alya were talking about sharks vs aligators while Adrien & [Y/N] sat down on a bench

"So you said you used to come here as a kid, what did you do?" Adrien asked as he rubbed the back of his neck

"Well, when I came her with my mum & dad, we would always sit in front of random fish tanks & name the different fishes, & whoever got the most right got ice cream, but in the end we all got one. Some times we would just stare at the fish swimming around for hours until it closed, s-some times we would make funny faces at the puffer f-fishes to scare them..." she sniffed & a tear rolled down her face

"[Y-Y/N]...?"

"I-I miss thoughs days." she suddenly broke down into tears "When I heard my mum d-died because of a thunder storm when s-she was crossing the seas I... I..." Adrien pulled her into a hug & she cried into his shirt "I miss my mum so much!"

"I miss mine too." she looked up at him & he wiped away her tears "But you know your mum will always love you."

"Y-Yeah... thanks for cheering me up."

"I had to, I don't wanna see you sad."
