Chapter 24 | I-I'm Sorry...

Third Person POV

Acuda had a rough landing & wasn't able to get up for a second, but once she looked at Adrien's worried look she got up & started running away again

"W-Where are we going?"

"I'm taking you away from the school, hopefully she follows so I can fight her in a bigger space." he slowly nods & his grip tightened

"Get back here you wimp!" Misfortune was using her yo yo as she was following Acuda & Adrien, she put on a straight face & jumped on the water & started running across it

"This takes me back where I met Chat Noir." hearing that made Adrien blush, she smirked at that & kept running. She was on the solid ground again & just as she was going to run again, something wrapped around her ankle, pulling on the yo yo she threw Adrien in the air & fell to the ground

"You can't run from me!" & she stomped, making her grunt & cough blood onto the ground "Adrien~" she started walking towards him while he tried to get away from him

"What did I say before?" Misfortune turned around with a annoyed look "Don't you hurt him!"

"You never give up, do you?" she threw her yo yo at her but Lady Acuda caught it this time, Misfortune pulled at it but Acuda pulled at it harder & threw her into the water

She ran towards Adrien & scooped him up, them jumped onto a building & started running off again. Adrien heard beeping so her looked at her miraculous, & saw that it had two scales left

"M-My lady! You have to stop! Your going to transform back!"

"No! I need to protect you Adrien, I-I have too!"

"I don't want to see you hurt." as she jumped over a rooftop & landed, something wrapped around her neck & pulled her back, making her drop Adrien again, but he almost fell off the roof

"You never learn." as she pulled at it the wire around her neck got tighter, Acuda put her hands to her neck & tried to get it off

"S-Stop... please." she reached her arm out to Misfortune as she fell to her knees

"Stop! Your going to kill her!" she scoffed

"So what?" she pulled at it again as blood dripped from her neck, she (you) started to cough for air as she put her hand on the wire, then it slipped & fell to the ground

"M-Mari... p-please..."

"With you out of the way, I can finally get to Adrien." he looked at Misfortune before running behind her "Say goodnight!" with one final attempt, her body went numb & she stopped struggling, when that happened Adrien took her earrings off & broke them

Marinette changed back to normal while Acuda fell forward & landed on her face. Blood spreading across the ground from her chest, forehead & neck

"My lady!" he ran over to her & fell to his knees, he put her head in his lap & tears appeared. Her necklace made a final beep & she transformed back to normal, Adrien's eyes widened & his tears fell from his cheeks & onto [Y/N]'s face

"[Y-Y/N]! Oh god it was you the whole time! Please come back! My lady! My love!" Ame was floating above her chest & started to cry

"W-What have I done?!" Marinette fell to her knees "I-I'm sorry...! [Y-Y/N], please forgive me!"

"No no no! Don't go [Y/N], please don't go...!" Ame had whispered, Adrien looked down at her & kissed her one last time, he suddenly pulled back when [Y/N] coughed & whizzed out blood

"[Y/N]! Oh god we need to get you to a hospital, & fast!"

Time Skip

[Y/N] was in the hospital & they were doing surgery on her, Adrien & Marinette were pacing around in the waiting room

"This is all my fault... this is all my fault."

"Calm down Marinette, I am very upset that you hurt her but, it wasn't you. You were akumatized, so it wasn't all your fault."

"But--"

"Lets just be happy she's... alive." hours have past & they were finally done, they told Adrien & Marinette what her condition was & it was bad

"We were lucky, real lucky. She could have died if you didn't bring her here. Wait, how did this happen to Miss Kaige again?" they exchange glanes at each other, before Marinette spoke up

"Ladybug went rouge & attacked her, luckily Lady Acuda was there to stop her!"

"These heroes, who knew Ladybug would go Rouge. When she wakes up she might have some side effects." they nod & rush into her room

"Oh [Y/N]! Please wake up soon, I'm so sorry for what I've done you. I hope you can forgive me." Adrien grabbed her hand & clutched onto it

"I love you so much [Y/N], so please, wake up." hours pasted & he wasn't up but the others visited her, they left her flowers, balloons, teddy bears... hell, even Chloe left a card

Days pasted this time & finally, she finally woke up. She sat up & when she did a nurse walked in, she dropped the things in her hands & ran off to find the doctor

"Its good to see your awake Miss Kaige, & you have visitors." she was going to question him when Adrien came in & hugged her, the others soon came in & hugged her

"[Y/N]...! Please don't scare us again." she suddenly pushes them off her & they look at her confused

"I'm sorry but... who are you people?"
