Chapter 40 | Black Nightmare

Reader POV

Its been a few days since I came back & its been hella fun, but... Lila is a total nuisance. She follows me around like a lost puppy, she totally lies about being friends with Lady Acuda & Chat Noir & whenever I'm with my friends she drags me away. I mean what the hell?!

Sometimes I try to avoid her but she always finds a way to get me to hang out with her, sometimes when I'm on a date with Adrien, she pops out of nowhere & ruins everything, worst friend ever

"Can't you like, I don't know, unfriend her or something?" Alya suggested

"I don't wanna be that mean to her, she says I'm her "bestest" friend."

"But your our bestest friend too, what, can't she share or something?"

"Share? Am I a object now?"

"Your a friend object?" I raise an eyebrow

"The hell is that?" Alya had a thinking face

"I have no idea." the two of us were silent for a second before bursting into laughter, we continue to talk until the gang showed up "Hey y'all!"

"Hey Alya, [Y/N]! Nino decided to have a sleepover at his house! All 6 of us."

"Yep! My parents are on a business trip for the week so I have the house all to myself!"

"Awesome! When should we come over?"

"Around 6:00 or 6:30 is fine."

"I'm a bring food!"

"Yes!" soon enough the teacher comes by & the lesson begins, I pay attention to most of it before slightly falling a sleep. It was finally over & it was the end of the day, yay! I walk out of class with Alya & Marinette while Nathaniel, Adrien & Nino walk out together

"Hey [Y/N]!" I was brought into a embrace by the brunette herself, Lila

"Oh hey Lila! What brings you here?"

"I was wondering if you wanted to hang out today? Just me & you?"

"Oh uh, I already have plans with my other friends. Right Marinette, Alya?" the two nodded "Maybe some other time?"

"Y-Yeah, that's fine. Later [Y/N]!" she waves goodbye before running off, I sigh in relief 

"Yay I don't have to deal with her." they pat my back, we went our separate ways when we came upon Marinette's home. I jog towards my house & start to get ready, I told Johann & he agreed, also he agreed to help me cook a couple things. I actually look up to Joshua as a father figure rather then a servant or butler

After cooking the food I went & changed into my PJ's, Ame ate the strawberry cake I gave him before flying into my pocket

"Okay [Y/N], are you ready?" I look at the time & see it was around 6:30

"Yep, lets go!"

Third Person POV

Just as [Y/N] arrived she met up with Marinette, they walk into Nino's house & were meet with the other four who were busy playing card games

"Hey you guys, what took so long?"

"I was busy making food."

"So was I."

"Food!" all six of them started eating while resuming back to they're came three up three down (I like playing it, it is also called shithead). Nathaniel, Nino & [Y/N] kept losing while Alya, Adrien & Marinette kept winning

"Are you guys cheating or something?!"

"No! We're just rather lucky, shithead." the three glare at them who laugh in return, they finish playing the game with Alya as the winner & her calling them shithead for the rest of the night. They started playing another game which was I dare you, some were pretty vial like, Nino had to dump his head in a bucket full of green paint

"All I see is green! Thanks Alya!"

"No problem man!" soon enough they all hear screaming, they dash over to the window while Nino stumbled over then wiped the paint off of his face & put his glasses back on. It was pretty dark but it was highly visible that there was black sand around in the air

"Ame/Plagg/Tikki! Spots on! Scales/Claws out!" the three transform while Alya squeals

"We're friends with Paris's heroes!"

"& Lady Acuda's outfit is different... I love it."

[say her scarf is still there]

"Thank you, thank you. Its not so tight like the last one." the three jump to where the black sand was coming from & they saw a girl with black hair, pale skin & was wearing a black dress

"I am Dark Nightmare! I'm here for your Miraculous's you pathetic heroes of Paris!"

"Pathetic? Who are you calling pathetic? We're not the ones who's gonna lose!" Ladybug face palmed while Lady Acuda was giggling

"You sure? Cause I know that one of you has been having a nightmare about killing an innocent person. Now that's pathetic to me." [Y/N] stopped laughing when she heard that

"What?"

"Did you kill someone Chat?!"

"No! I would never do something like that!" they both look at Acuda "You wouldn't do something like that either, would you Acuda?" they ask but shocked to see she was heavily breathing, sweat forming & her whole body was shaking

"I-I didn't mean too... it was an accident!"
