Chapter 4

    Today was the day. The day I was getting married. I was nervous as hell. Don had everything planed before the night could come. Now here I am in the Vampire Council Castle were every Vampire has to get married at.

    My sister was here to help me get through it, but even she couldn’t help me, I was going to either faint, or vomit.

    “Sis, calm down your going to be okay.” My sister knew how I felt when she married Bill she didn’t know what he looked like, or how he was going to act. But she ended up falling in love later on. I had hoped that is what would happen to me.

    “Okay, I’m calm, I’m calm,” I was quiet for a moment, “Oh shit nope I’m not calm, no I can’t do this, call it off, call everything off, I can’t do this!” I became hysterical, and started to cry all over again.

    “No, God damn it you can do this, if I could do it so can you.”

    “Okay.”

    “Hey Lori!” my brother ran into the room.

    “Don wanted me to give you this, he said that he wanted you to wear it for the wedding and every night.” the necklace was absolutely beautiful, it was a black diamond, that would match my dress and all my other cloths perfectly. 

    My wedding wasn’t going to be like your human weddings with the white dresses, and all of your bridesmaids, and your flower girl. Our s was so much different. The WHOLE vampire world was going to be there. Your dress HAD to be black or red. You only had one matron of honor. Nothing more that was it. And the groom only could have a best man and that was it. Since King Don didn’t have a brother or a best friend, he chose my brother to be his best man.

     Instead of kissing your bride, you had to bite her, marking her as yours. And while you do that, you have to push the marking venom into her. And everyone is whatching you. And since this was the king of the north side the most powerful ruler. This was even more of a big deal. I couldn’t mess up. And I was afraid of that.

    My dress was obviously black, I had a beaded pattern on the top and lower part of my dress. I knew that today when I was finally married to King Don I would also have my coronation .I had heavy black eye shadow, and my lips were there matural color, not bloody red but a red color all female vampires had the same color lips. My eyes were shining in there elemental color. Purple. This is what was soposted to happen, when you get married your element comes out in it’s most natural way.

    My sisters dress was your normal kind of Matron of Honor dress. Black with a strip of white going down the right side.

    “Are you ready?” my sister asked. It was her turn to go down the 50 foot long isle.

    “Yes, I’m ready.” she left to take her turn down the isle.

    When it was my turn, I took a deep breath and moved, everything was like it was in slow motion for me. I saw Andy were we kept the human consorts. There was well over 125,000 vampires in that room. Half of them celebrities. The leader of the vampire council will be like your priest.

    I walked down that isle as normally you humans would think is a blur. I was walking at 25 m/p/h. When I reached the end, Don took my hands in his. And we both kneeled down to the leader of all vampires. There may be a King of the South, North and West. But there was also a King of All Vampires.

    The King of all vampires was EVERYONES ruler. Everyone reported to him. Even the sub kings. The North may be the most powerful but the king of all vampires was IT. He was our all time ruler. His other job was to be at the head of the council too.
