Chapter 13

    The next night, I couldn’t look at Tom, it was Halloween. The day Don came back. Don. I was worried, I kept thinking that someone told him something, that he would know about me and Tom. But how, who would tell King Don that his wife was cheaating on him with the enemy’s son? No one would, not unless you wanted to keep your head.

    “Lori, are you okay? You look out of it sis.” my twin Adrian came up behind me and put his arm around my shoulders bringing me into a one armed hug. He was wearing a black tux. He hated wearing one.

    “Yah, I’m okay.” I was distracted for the whole day.

    “If it’s about you and Tom and how you have been sleeping with him, then you should be worried.” he said, the tone of his voice was nutral, there was no emotion.

    “How did you? How did you know?”

    “Two nights ago I went you your room to talk to you about something that the slaves were talking about, just a rumor, but what I heard coming from Tom’s room confermed my thoughts. And you weren’t in your room.” his eyes stayed on mine begging me to deny what he was saying. I couldn’t.

    “Do you hate me now?” I asked him. Adrian’s eyes closed in denyal, and the breath came rushing out of him.

    “No, I don’t ever think that I could hate my sister.” he once again hugged me.

    “Good, because I’d kick your butt.” I told him.

    “No you woudn’t.” He said. He pulled his arm from around my waist, and pushed me, I stumb;ed at bit and pushed him back. Then he pushed me back.

    “You can’t beat me you’re a girl.” he told me and he pushed me again.

    “Boy or girl I can still wip you.” I grabbed his hand and twisted it so that his back was to me, and I manovered his arm so that he couldn’t move it.  Adrian leand forward so that I fliped over his back landing on the floor in front of him.  I got up and jumped on him, he stubled alittle bit, but we ended on the floor twisting and moving, punching each other, and yelling at one another, but we were having fun and soon after we were laughing.

    And it kept going on until Candy was walking with Bill and Claudia. Claudia stopped short at seeing her future husband fist fighting with his twin sister. She came to help him but her father stopped her. Bill grabbed Claudia and just looked at us. He studied us like we were painting until Adrian screamed uncle when I had his head in a head lock while I was sitting on his back.

    “Oh Adrian are you okay are you hurt anywere.?” Claudia ran up to him and looked all over for his injeries. Even though there were none she still fussed over him. Bill’s hand was in my face I grabbed it and he helped me up.

    “You are a good fighter Lori, you both are, but I couldn’t help but notice that you both work insinquce. He moves you move, like magnets. You both work together in the most wired ways. Like you guys are comeing together as one when you fight. Two different people joining as one and you both could have kept going at it because neither of you would win it would always be a tie because you can’t defeat each other and you never will, because  you both are the same, but together you are unstoppable.

    “I guess your right.” Adrian said, but soon after he disapeard with Claudia to god knows were.

    “Sis the Halowwen party is soon, maybe Claudia can finally go up to the human world. Plus us vampires are running out of blood, we need to get more tonight.”

    I was just getting ready for the party when the arlarm went off. The alarm only goes off when we are under attack or if the king needs to talk to us.  In this case the king needed to talk to everyone.  I made my way down to the court room when I smelled someone familiar. Don. He was finally here. My heart skipped a beat, thinking that he was already here. I opend the door to the court room to see everyone there. Sitting at their spots.

    I walked over to my seat, which was right next to Don, I sat down and Don held my hand in his, squeezing gently.

    “We have a problem.” said Victor.  “The American vampires are planing to set a war against us. They believe that we have taken their power from them. They want to go to war with us. Because of this, we German Vampires cannot go to the human world this year, only for safty reasons.” there were multiple groans and protest. Claudia put her face in Adrian’s chest and silently cried. This was supposed to be her first year going to the human world above us.

    “So for the night we are going to have a party here.” 

    There were chears all around the cour room, every vampire loves a good party.  Don and I got up from our seats and he pulled me from the room, he dragged me up the stairs to the room that was mine, and he slamed the door closed. I was getting nervous around him. Slowly he turned around and came over to me. His eyes were glowing yellow, the yellow I so badly missed this past year.

    When he reached me his hands slowly made their way to my face, he held me so gently like I was some porcaline doll. His eyes searched mine, burning into me.  His face then decended onto mine, his lips slowly touching mine, moving with mine. I missed him so much. And finally he was here with me.

    His hands made there way from my face down my neck to my waist, pulling me closer to him. He pulled his face away from mine.

    “God, I have missed you, Lori. So much.” he said kissing me again.

    “I’ve missed you too Don.” I could feel him pulling up the hem on my dress.

    “Don, wait we need to go to the party first. People will get suspicious if we are not there. Please let’s just go to the party, then we can go back home, and you can have me all to yourself.” it’s not that I didn’t want to be with Don, I did, it’s just that I wanted to have a good time with everyone. Before it ended.

    Don and I danced the night away, and at times I would get the feeling that someone was watching me but I didn’t dare look to see who. I was surprised when Victor asked me to dance with him. He twirled me around in circles and when the song changed to a slower tempo he pulled me closer and whispered in my ear.

    “I didn’t tell him about you and Tom’s discreshion but if you ever see him again I won’t think twice about it Lori. You are young, I can understand that, but don’t let it happen again. I love you Lori. Like a daughter. And I don’t want you to get in trouble.” Victor released me and kissed my forehead.

    After when the party was ending Victor said that Prince Tom Kaulitz wanted to sing a song for the last dance of the evning. Tom picked up his guitar and started to sing. Looking me right in the eyes the whole time. He played my favorite Tokio Hotel song, "Geh".

    Later that night when Don and I got home I found that all my stuff was moved back to his castle. Don carried me up to our room with me wrapped around the front of him and him holding me up by my thighs. We made our way to the bed and he dropped me on it with him crawling onto of me.

    I had missed this, being with him. But how come every time I closed my eyes all I could see was Tom’s face?
