Chapter 7~2009

    One week later was the night I would have the time of my life. There was going to be another ball tonight to celebrate the birthday of Claudia, the theme was Halloween. And tonight was the night that my brother would announce that he and Claudia were getting married.

    Tom and I have gotten closer, he’s like my best friend. Louis has been keeping a close eye on us, he was getting suspicious, he’s heard about what happened between us before I got married. He is constantly reminding me that I am indeed married to King Don. And that I shouldn’t be always hanging out with another man, that it would look bad for my image.

    I was going to wear a 1920’s style dress, with fairy wings coming out of the back. It was going to be beaded, and the color was a gray/white color.  The wings were going to be see threw. I felt Cinderella while wearing the dress.

    Claudia was so happy, she jumped around all day, singing “Happy Birthday” around the whole house.  She dragged Adrian along with her wherever she went. But Adrian didn’t mind, he loved her, and would go to the end of the world with her. Him planning to ask her to marry him tonight made him jittery, and nervous. He couldn’t sit or stand still. Well maybe that was just me, when we were human he had ADHD(Attention deficit hyperactive disorder)

    There was 5 hours till the party, so I decided to visit the training room, the training room is wear the human spies and the assigns are being trained. The human spies and assigns switch castles every year, this year they are staying in the south side, mainly because the king wanted me to be protected. With Don being in America and all.

    When I walked into the training room, there was a blond man standing in the center, yelling out orders.

    “No, no, no! You are supposed to block her not counter her attack and make yours!” he threw his hands in the air and let out a puff of air. He turned to me and smiled.

    “Ah, Queen Lorelei,” he bowed. “So nice to see you finally, my name is Gabriel Dragon. But you can just call me Dragon. And these too girls here are, Nicole Dibaberac and Luce Whitlock. They are the vampires best assigns.” he told me. I smiled.

   “It’s nice to meet all of you, please don’t call me queen, just call me Lori. And the moves you do, are you training in Sambo?” I asked.

   “Yeah! How did you know Lori?” asked Nichol.

   “I used to take Sambo lessons when I was human. And I perfected it last year.” I told them.

    “Wow, can you teach us some moves?” they asked.

    I looked at Dragon and he shook his head yes. “okay”

    “First, never go for the obvious ’kill’ They will be expecting that, you guys can go to America right?” They shook their heads yes. “Well then their assigns are trained the same way you are. Except they aren’t as strong as you. They would never guess that a group of two girls would be the vampires best assigns.” I laughed.

    “Yeah, I guess your right.” they told me.

    “Now, one thing you must remember a weapon can be used as both as a weapon and as a shield. But while also deflecting your enemies attacks, you have one hand open to attack with as well., also never rely on submission holds, never forget that there is a weapon.” I demonstrated with Dragon, while I had one of his arms in a submission, his other arm (gently) came around and hit me in the face. The girls were so transfixed on what they were learning that they looked like they were in a trance.

    “Any time you are pursuing a target, think in the perspective of the one running. But your enemy can do this as well, and may anticipate your moves. If you see one rate there are 30 more, just as if someone tells one lie, they will tell others.”
