Chapter 25

Prom had arrived and riley was very exited. Her parents were on a bussines trip so she invited Lucas over after prom. Her brother was staying over with a friend. Before going to the prom she and Maya had met up at her place where the boys would pick them up. Riley and Maya had gone prom dress shopping the day before and both got beautiful dresses. Riley had a silky long white dress that starts around her neck. Maya had a bleu dress with golden and bleu pattern around her chest.

They both did each other's hair and make-up. Both of the were proudly smiling and getting ready. Auggie interrupted their preparations when he came in. "Your boyfriends are here" he said adding a little eye roll. Riley and Maya widened their eyes. "Already?" Maya asked. Riley quickly applied her lipgloss and packed everything up. "Ok, do we look good?" Maya asked. Riley nodded approving. "We're ready" they let out a little squeal before heading downstairs where their boyfriends were waiting. Josh was glaring at Lucas trying to understand why his niece liked a Friar. But his attention soon turned to Maya when she walked down the steps. He smiled and took her hand. "You look beautiful" he said astonished. Maya blushed and looked down at her dress. "Thank you, I paid it all myself" Josh pecked her temple and they turned to Riley and Lucas. Lucas his jaw fell open when Riley walked down the stairs. She blushed and slowly walked up to her boyfriend. "You look...." Lucas couldn't even finish his secntence cause he had no words. "Wow, beautiful" he whispered. Riley blushed even more and Lucas took her hand. "I'm so lucky" he said. Riley smiled and pecked his lips. "You don't look so bad yourself handsome" she said. Lucas chuckled and they turned to Josh and Maya. "You look beautiful too" Josh said. Maya smiled. "Thanks babe, let's go shall we?" Maya tapped his cheek before walking towards the door. Josh spread his arms expecting a compliment as well. "Sorry Josh" Riley patted his shoulder and followed Maya out. Lucas awkwardly stood next to Josh. Riley's uncle was glaring at her boyfriend. "So you two are dating now?" He asked. Lucas nodded. "Yep" after another awkward silence he followed the girls outside.

The venue the school had rented for the prom was filled with teenagers. They were all dancing and having a good time. Enjoying their last bits of high school. "Never thought i'd say this but I'm actually gonna miss high school. " Maya said while they walked inside the venue. "Wow, that's a big surprise" Maya rolled her eyes and nudged Riley to stop. "Ok, I'm gonna get a drink first" Riley made her way to some people and went to the food stand. "What shall it be beautiful young lady" The bartender asked. Riley ordered the drinks and walked back to her friends. "Friendly bartender" She said handing Lucas his cup. "Friendly, or too friendly?" He asked protective. Riley chuckled and shook her head. "He was charming, defninitely with that ring on his finger" Lucas sighed relieved. "Thank god he's married" He whispered to himself. "Don't worry babe" Riley took the cup out of his hand and pecked his cheek. "I'm all yours tonight" Lucas smiled.

Lucas stood up when he heard one of Riley's favorite songs come up. He held out his hand and Riley looked away from her conversations with Maya. She smiled and accepted his offer. Josh did the same and the two couples made their way to the dancefloor. Lucas softly putted one hand on her waist and took her other one up. Riley laid her free hand on his shoulder and placed her head on his heart. They swayed along the music and enjoyed the moment. "I love you" Lucas whispered in her ear. Riley smiled and snuggled closer towards him. "I love you too" she answered. "I'm glad we don't have to hide anymore" Lucas said. Riley nodded agreeing. "Me too, I hated the sneaking around" Riley looked up. "Yeah, cause even though we're in the middle of a dancefloor, i can do this" Lucas leaned in and kissed Riley in between all the dancing students. Riley smiled during the kiss and pulled him closer. When they parted they felt a few eyes gleud onto them. "How long do we have to stay?" Riley asked. Lucas smirked. "We can leave whenever you want" He said. Riley smiled and turned to tap Maya's shoulder. "We're going home, are you guys gonna get home?" Riley asked. Maya nodded and hugged her best friend. "We'll be fine, go be with you boyfriend" Riley smiled thankful and locked her hands with Lucas. They walked out of the venue and left Maya and Josh on their own. 

Riley and Lucas walked into Riley's bedroom and Riley closed the door behind her. Lucas stood by the edge of Riley's bed and with a grin she walked up to him. She locked their lips and ran her hands through his hair. She stopped the kiss and pushed Lucas back on the bed. She hovered over him and started kissing his neck. He let out a soft moan and ran his hands up and dow her hips. Riley saw lust and love combined int Lucas his eyes. She gave soft pecks on his jawline and make her way to his lips. Once their lips connected again, Lucas flipped them over and was now the one hovering over Riley. He slipped his hands under her dress and started fiddling with her zipper. She started turning on his vest and unbuttoning his shirt. Lucas pulled their lips away and went over to her neck. Riley tilted her head to give him more acces and moaned when he started sucking. That would definitely leave a mark. She pushed him off and he rolled onto the bed. She stood up and pulled the dress over her head, showing off her white lace bra and panties she bought ust for that night. Lucas couldn't keep his eyes of the beautiful girl in front of him. He kicked off his shoes and Riley started playing and teasing with his  zipper. Lucas growled and pushed her down. "No teasing baby, that's my thing." Riley smirked and connected their lips again. The night went on, just them two, not caring about anything else in the world. Forgetting their problems. They were one. Hoping to stay like that forever.
