A cold breeze passed Riley's shoulders once she entered the oh so familiar roof top. The city lights lighting up New York while the sun had gone under hours ago. Riley felt even more nervous then before and sat down on the little bench aside. Thinking about the things she'd say to him. It felt like senior year all over again. Secret meeting between the two of them. The memories came flooding back in. The night they kissed here:

*flashback*
A half hour later they came back up to clean their stuff. "This was a great idea Lucas, I think the teachers gonna love it!" Riley said exited. Lucas chuckled and closed the door. "See, I'm filled with great ideas" he follows her over to the bench where she was stuffing her dirty clothes into the bag. "So are you gonna-" Riley turned around but suddenly saw that he was very close to her. Because she scared a little she almost tripped but Lucas was able to hold her back. Their faces were inches apart. Riley's hands where on his chest and Lucas was holding her by her waist. The city lights were lighting up their faces. And maybe it was the moment, or the feelings rushing threw their bodies. But suddenly they both leaned in and pressed their lips together. It was like a shock went through their body. It felt addicting to kiss each other. But they soon realized who they were kissing. They pulled away and stared at each other in shock
*end flashback*

Riley stared out over the city thinking back off that moment. Back then she was so scared of everything that could happen when they'd actually get together. She was scared of her parent reaction, her friends reaction. And now she feels likes she's in the same situation. She wondered if Maya would suspect anything. Riley was pulled out of her thoughts when she heard footsteps coming closer. The outside door swung open and Lucas walked onto the platform. Riley jumped off the bench and straightened her shirt. Lucas closed the door behind him and smiled. "Hey" he greeted her. Riley fiddled with her fingers and smiled back. "Hi" she said very soft. "I'm glad you wanted to meet up" Lucas said walking up to her. "Me too, we should discuss what happened last night" Riley and Lucas sat down next to each other on the bench.

"I know.....but do you regret it?" Lucas asked. "Regret what?" Riley asked confused looking at him. "Last night? Do you regret last night?" Riley looked ahead of her and bit her lip anxious. "I don't know what to regret of not. I've made many mistakes lately and I can't seem to fix them" Riley mumbled. "But you were always so punctial. What happened?" Lucas asked. "I....I guess some things just went too fast for me and I made a mess." Riley stood up and walked over to the edge. "I'm not gonna lie to you Lucas" she said with her back turned towards him. She fiddled with her promise ring. "I don't want to lie to you, not even for the sake of my company" she turned on her heels and saw that he had stood up from the bench. "I do not regret sleeping with you last night." A small smile krept onto Lucas his face. "Really, I did not expect that" he admitted. "I thought you were faithful to your relationship? At least if I may believe the tabbloids" Riley groaned and turned back facing the city. "Please don't mention the tabbloids. I feel like their interest in me has grown ever since I came back. It's like they expect some drama between us again. They want juicy fights between Friar and Matthews" Lucas chuckled. "Or the complete opposite" Riley frowned and looked over her shoulder at Lucas walking over to her. "Maybe they expect us to get back together, and they want to know how this all will work since we're both big CEO of rivalrous companies" Riley chuckled and shook her head. "Typical" she mumbled. "But of course you've got a boyfriend" he said with a big sigh. Riley bit the inside of her cheek nervous. "I...." she didn't know what to say next.

"Why are you with him?" Lucas asked. Silence. Riley had no answer. "You know I love you so so much right? I'd do anything to get you back. But I don't want to risk you getting a bad reputation because you're cheating on your boyfriend" Lucas said. "What are you saying?" Riley asked. "What I actually came to say is.." Lucas took a deep breath. "I'm so madly deeply in love with you I can't even describe it. And yesterday you told me you still love me too. Do you? Even if you're in a relationship with him?" Riley looked down. "If you really love me...you break up with him" Riley sighed. "Don't you think I've tried? Lucas he's the son of one of our biggest partners! If I dump him his father will drop out and we'll loose half of our fund!" Lucas took Riley's hands. "I'm sorry Riley, but I can't live with myself without you....not again" he whispered. His warm breath fell onto Riley's skin and she closed her eyes. "I've bin trying to find a way to end things for months. But I cant seem to find one" her eyes got a little watery but she immediately wiped it away. Lucas took some steps back. "Fine, i get it" Riley frowned confused. "What?" She asked. "You choose yoir company over your love life. That's ok." Riley shook her head. "No that's not what I-" Lucas cut her off. "Of course not, you've always chosen your future as CEO first" Lucas said. "Lucas no, you know that's not true." Lucas scoffed and shook his head. "Maybe not, but I'm kinda off right now so... if you'll excuse me" he turned on his heels and made his way back to the door. "Lucas please, can't we find some other way?" Lucas ignored her question and walked inside. Riley sighed and wiped some more tears away. Somehow he was right. She was choosing the faith of her company over her happiness. Could she still change it? She hoped so.
