My eyes darted from Hailey to the sight in front of me. A little smile danced at the corner of her lips, she knew about this. I gave her the 'I'm going to kill you later look'. She laughed and pushed me forward, several pairs of eyes stared at me, smiling.

In the name of chocolate chips why were they smiling? I was gradually becoming nervous, attention wasn't good.

A band of singers I've never seen or heard of before were trying there best to sing some Spanish songs I knew and of course they were doing a very bad job. And there was Alex on one knee, using a table spoon as a form of microphone. He seemed to be the leader of this outrageous band, in his failed attempt to sing in Spanish he kept singing things even I couldn't understand.

I tried to keep my smile from faltering which for the first time a while was pretty difficult. What is he thinking?

They kept going off key over and over again and everyone in the restaurant kept smiling? What is this?. Were they deaf or just couldn't detect good music when they heard it?. Never in all twenty-seven years of my life have I experienced a sight as hilarious but yet stupid as this. This was absolutely terrible. If I wasn't the center of attention, I would have probably laughed till my lungs hurt but now all I could was sweat from my palms. I was fucking nervous. It's a freaking digital world, one picture and I'm that girl that 'used to be'.

I managed to force a smile though and held my hand up as a signal for them to stop but they didn't. They were creating a scene and all eyes were on me, and it didn't help the fact that I won't stop sweating in my palms. I honestly didn't feel like dying today.

I forced out another smile and forcefully took the spoon Alex was using as a form of microphone and signaled again for the band to stop, thankfully they did. And everyone in the restaurant started clapping.

What is wrong with people!?

Breathing out a sigh of relief, the restaurant was now very quiet. All eyes were on us.

This was bad, very bad.

I forced out yet another smile and whispered to Alex who was now on his feet with a full grin, like he just figured out the perfect idea for saving the world from global warming.

Idiot.

"Alex, what is this?." I said with a hiss. Right about that time, my new neighbor made his way into the restaurant and was greeted by the sight in front of him. Immediately, his eyes automatically made contact with mine, He was amused, surprised even. I rolled my eyes in frustration.

Great, just great.

"This was my way sweetheart of showing my love for you," From the corner of my left eye, I saw my neighbour raise an eyebrow. "I've always told you how I felt but never showed you-" He said with a loud voice, getting the attention of everyone again but not before I cut him off.

"Thank you everyone for choosing Sarah's Delight to eat. On behalf of I and the entire team, we promise you this show or whatever that was will never occur again. We do sincerely hope this won't stop you from coming to eat here again. Sorry for that amazing scene and thank you again." I said with the most warming smile I could offer.

I  got some smiles here and there from the customers. I ushered his outrageous band out of the restaurant and told Alex to sit put at the table and wait for me. He looked heart broken but honestly I could care less, he almost unknowingly got me killed. I looked back for Hailey but didn't see her, nevertheless, I would kill her.

With the most professional smile I could muster at the moment, I walked up to my neighbour who still had an amused expression on his face and stood by the corner watching my every move like a hawk. I cleared my throat and said,
