When I get back to the dorm, what happened last night still hasn't sunk in. I'm waiting patiently for that to happen, bracing myself for regret or guilt. There's none of that. So, we had sex, no big deal. People do it all the time, so there's no reason for me not to enjoy the momentary feeling of bliss that surrounds me. Even as I open the dorm door and step inside, I feel a small smile tugging at my lips.

Well, that's until I find Riddly already awake, sitting on her bed. She whips her head around when I enter then jumps up quickly.

"Please tell me that you didn't kill him and bury the body! I mean you've been gone all night so I'm a little concerned!" She exclaims and yet all I can do is smirk at her crazy expression. It's weird to not be freaking out. The calm Patrick instilled in me as I lay in his arms all night has yet to disappear.

"Are you kidding? If I was going to bury a body, you'd be the first person I'd call!" I reply. That's when she notices I still have the drum sticks in my possession. Then her face breaks into a grin.

"You kept them"

"Yeah but don't think I've forgotten about you! You were in on this the whole damn time!"

"All I did was provide the keys" she argues.

"Oh, is that all? No big deal then" I reply, although I'm not actually mad at her anymore.

"Look, I met Pete on Saturday morning and he told me what Patrick had in mind. So I gave him my keys. They collected the drum kit before you got to work, then delivered it. That's when Pete invited me to the meal. When I said Patrick put in a lot of effort, I meant it considering I watched him put it all back together for you"

I pretend to think it over and glance at the drum kit taking up the room that was left in our dorm. It was certainly nice of him to set it up himself. Running my fingers over one of the symbols, I finally let myself feel a little grateful.

"Next time you go out; I'm going to quiz you to death!" I tell Riddly and she looks relieved.

"I thought you'd be mad at me. You seemed really upset last night. What happened?" She asks and my mind flashes with not so innocent memories.

"You know, we just talked it out" I reply briefly, keeping my eyes averted.

"All night?" She continues, her voice already suspicious. I don't feel ashamed about what happened, I just wonder if she'll see me any different. All I've told her is I don't want to have feelings for him and yet I've slept with him.

"Mostly..." I whisper.

"Wait!" She exclaims, grabbing my attention as she steps into my personal space. She scrutinises me closely, her eyes squinting. "There's something different about you!"

"What the hell are you talking about?" I reply, knowing that there can't be anything psychically different about me.

"Your skin is glowing- oh my god! You had sex!" She yells.

"I swear to god, you're a witch!" I reply, not quite able to believe that she guessed already.

"So, that's a yes then!" She squeals.

"Would it makes me a terrible person if my answer is yes?" I ask.

"Not at all" she says, smiling brightly.

"Then yes, we... had sex" I confirm, feeling my face heat.

"Does that mean you're together again?" She questions, getting excited.
