I'm woken up by the sound of the door opening and I watch threw the dim light, as Riddly tries to tip toe to her bed.

"What time do you call this?!" I yell and she jumps about a foot in the air.

"Oh my god, I knew you'd be awake!" She yells back. I sit up and flick on the lamp next to my bed, my eyes struggling to deal with the brightness of it.

"I wasn't actually until you every so loudly came in" I laugh, while she throws herself on her bed, much like I did earlier. Glancing at my phone, lets me know that it's not actually that late. I got home at about ten and its midnight now.

"So what did you get up to?" I ask her cheerily, trying to disguise the turmoil in my own mind. I still haven't answered my father either, knowing that once again I'll be lying to him.

"Oh no, you don't get to ask me that, not until you tell me everything" she responds, pulling her knees us and wrapping her arms around them.

"What? He walked me home and then he left. It was nice. So, back to you!"

"Seriously, he walked you home and nothing happened? Didn't he at least try to hold your hand?" She asks, looking shocked. My lips still feel raw from when he kissed me and I can almost still feel it. Having him glued to me like that, wasn't exactly a bad thing either.

"Violet? Come on, give me something" she says, her voice bringing me back to the present.

"I can tell you that there was no hand holding...when he walked me home" I reply cryptically.

"But there was hand holding afterwards?" She asks, her eyes searching for information on my face.

"Riddly, if I told you that I might have slipped up a little, what would you say?"

"Slipped up? What do you mean? You can do what you want with him, there's nothing wrong with that. I keep telling you that. What happened?" She asks. I wish I felt as though I'd done nothing wrong. I know I technically haven't but I still don't want to mess with him... even if he's messing with me.

"We kissed, more than once. I should have said no but I didn't" I explain.

"Why should you have said no? You need to stop beating yourself up for having feelings. If I'm honest, I think he really cares about you. I saw the way he looked at you, it was real" she says, looking very sincere.

"I don't know Riddly. I was so sure he was someone I had to keep away from. So sure that I could hate him but everything's different. Having him close is...good"

"Are you going to see him again?" She asks, while I stare at my own hands. I know that I want to see him again but the question is should I?

"He asked if he could see me again and in the moment, I said yes" I say quietly.

"You can change your mind if you like. Although, I think you know by now what my advice is" she grins and I smile back at her. She's very much team Patrick.

"Now that you've quizzed me. It's my you're turn! What the hell happened with Pete?" I ask excited. It's much more fun asking the questions.

"I know you won't believe me but we just talked. I swear to god!" She says, holding her hands up high.

"Are you sure because not telling me, would make you a hypocrite!" I exclaim, trying to work out if she's lying.

"I'm telling the truth. He gave me a kiss on the cheek when I got in the cab but that's all. He's a nice guy."
