Darcy was sat in one of the stalls in the bathroom at school. She was so miserable, after a week of crying she thought she was ready to go back to school and face people bullying her, but she wasn't.

Only seeing him was painful enough. It didn't matter she was heartbroken, she shouldn't have kissed him like that, she shouldn't have forced herself on to him, he shouldn't have liked it. But she did, and so did he.

She stopped sobbing when the bathroom door opened and a few girls entered. "I heard Darcy was back at school today." One of the said, the other two giggling. "I saw her at English today, she looked like a disaster." Another one said and laughed.

"Serves her right, she just cheated on her boyfriend with the boy she apparently hates most." The third one said, they all laughed and Darcy had to hold back the tears. "So much hate." They all laughed, "If I was Darcy I would change schools." One of them spoke, the talking faded out and a door opened and closed.

Darcy was alone again. She was going home, she could not take the pressure of being in this place. Another bell rang which ment it was time for lunch break, Darcy softly cussed, this meant it would be a crowded place in here.

She quickly got up, grabbed her bag and walked over to the door, surprised by a crowded hallway. She looked at the ground while walking but ended up hearing people talking about her, shaming her and laughing. Darcy understood, if she was in their position she'd laugh too.

Her feet escaped the school and rushed through the court yard, since Ashton had been ignoring her, she had to walk everywhere. She did not care, it was quite peacefull actually. This time it wasn't, because to make her life even better, it started to rain.

She pulled the hood of her hoodie up and rushed her steps. A soft cough came out of her throat and it was only then that she realized the car driving besides her. She acted like she didn't hear it, until it drove further only to stop. Darcy still tried walking further but the driver got out and ran over to her.

"Darcy!" He yelled, she had to look up, but she wished she did not. Luke rushed over to her, of course she let out a cough. His hands placed themselves on her shoulders. It was pointless to try and avoid him at this point.

"Get in, you'll get sick if you don't." He said. But Darcy was not planning on sitting in a car with him. She got out of his grip, pushed past him and walked a few steps only to let out a few more coughs. "Darcy! Stop!" He yelled, and she did. Darcy stopped in her tracks but did not turn around.

"Don't you understand I care!" He yelled afterwards. "I care so much, I know it's hard right now but you need to let somebody in!" Darcy let out another soft cough and slowly Luke walked over to her. "Let me help you, let me show that I care, that I want to be there for you." He said, he did not know if it was rain or if it were tears on his cheeks.

Softly, Darcy turned around and stared at him. Her underlip was shaking softly, and she finally looked him in the eyes. Two seconds later, she let out loud tears and rushed in to his arms. He wrapped her in his arms and held her while her loud outburst of tears just kept coming. "Come on." He said, softly pulling her over to the car.

Slightly unsure, she eventually got in to his car and he drove off. He turned the heat up but it did not help her soaked hoodie. Darcy stared out of the window in the beginning but let her head fall back against the chair and closed her eyes. Luke realized she was probably crazily tired.

After ten minutes, the car stopped and Darcy looked. They were not in front of her house. "Why-" She started but Luke grabbed her hand. "Trust me, let me help you." Luke said. He got out and helped Darcy out of the car as well. "My parents are at work." He said while grabbing the key.

Darcy followed him up the stept to probably his bedroom. He grabbed two towels for her, gave her a clean t-shirt and then left the room. "I'll be next door, just call me when you're done."

She did, after drying off her soaking wet body, hanging her clothes in the bathroom and slipping in to the t-shirt she got from Luke. She opened the door and saw him leaning against the opposite wall, smiling. "I'm done." Darcy spoke softly, a bit scared she would be too loud.

He walked in to the room and Darcy stood in the middle, looking around. He pulled the covers to the side and grabbed her wrist softly, "Lay." He smiled politely and she did. She slipped in underneath the covers and let her still slightly damp hair hit the pillow. After he tucked her in, he walked over to the door. "I'll be downstairs, my parents won't be back until late, just call if you need me." He said.

Darcy nodded, turned around so her back was facing Luke. He closed the door and let her sleep, and that was exactly what she needed.
