Pain was all she could feel, walking through the halls on Monday morning. She had dodged Maxwell all weekend, replying texts with a few words and saying she already had plans when he wanted to meet up.

In all honesty, she spent her whole weekend laying in bed, crying. She skipped her meals and she had her blinds closed all day. That changed, because Sunday afternoon the boys had an intervention.

They came walking in, Michael laid down on the bed next to Darcy, she softly cuddled in to his side. Ashton ripped open the blinds and then joined Darcy and Michael on the bed. Calum turned on her television to MTV and that's how they spent their afternoon.

Michael and Calum had become friends with Darcy ever since they first came over. It just clicked immediately.

Michael joined Darcy in the walk to her locker but had to go when he saw Lindsay walking, since he had a small crush on her. Darcy smiled, finding it adorable how Michael acted. She passed the corner and walked over to her locker, sadly Maxwell stood right in front of her locker, waiting for her.

"Hey baby I missed you this weekend." He said, wrapping his arms around her waist and kissing her cheek. She immediately noticed how clingy he was. "Hey." She said, giving him a smile. No matter how heartbroken she was because of him, his touch still gave her a thousand goosebumps and his kisses still made her heart beat like crazy.

She continued putting some books in her locker and then closed it again turning around and staring in to his eyes. His goofy smile made her eyes light up. All these things he did, so much love and still she was hurting so much because of it.

Luckily the bell rang so she got out of his grip. "See you." He said, kissing her again as he turned around and walked to her class.

Being with him still felt so normal but hurt her so much. She had thought about breaking up with him, but she couldn't. Half of her still cared so much about him and wanted to be with him every second of the day. The other half was scared of what people might think of her if she did break up with him.

Breaking up with him after a month, people would call her names and she would have nobody. She was scared to be alone so she held on to the pain of being with him.

Darcy finally walked in to class and sighed whilst getting in to her usual chair, which was behind Luke Hemmings. She groaned when she realized and hoped he would not do anything today, she was emotionally not ready for his comments.

The second she could see him move around she raiser her finger and stared at him, "Not today." She scoffed. Somehow Luke let her be, he closed his mouth and turned back around. He smiled though, he noticed Darcy getting some attitude, one of the things he wanted to achieve.

After an hour of wandering through her mind, she heard the bell ring and got up. Second period would start in just a few minutes so she rushed over to her locker to get her other books. She was brought back to reality when she heard somebody say her name.

She recognized the name but did not think of the correct person immediately. Darcy closed her locker and turned around to see Lola staring at her. "Hey" Lola said to her. Darcy just didn't understand why she was suddenly talking to her.

"What do you want, I have to get to class." Darcy said while walking the opposite direction. "No, Darcy!" Lola said, grabbing her wrist and pulling her body back so it was facing her again. "There is something you need to see." She said, pulling her along the hallway.

Darcy was going to be really late for class now, but there was no way Lola was going to let her leave. They had been taking two corners, Darcy had said some annoyed words to Lola but then they stood in front of the broom closet.

"What's so important?" Darcy groaned, her question was answered when Lola opened the door for her and found what she had not been expecting. It were Maxwell and Cara, kissing. Cara was pushed against the wall, her hands roaming over Maxwell's back, his were on her waist.

The sound of the door opening made them both look up, Maxwell's jaw dropped slightly when he saw Darcy standing there. She could see a smirk forming on Cara's face. "I knew it." Darcy said softly, choking on her tears.

She turned around and ran off, she didn't know where to, she just rushed away from Maxwell. Tears were beginning to fall down her cheeks as she ran and wiped them away so she could see where she was going.

Turning another corner, she bumped in to a broad body. And of course it was Luke, he grabbed her shoulders and then looked in to her eyes, seeing the tears running down her cheeks. "Are you okay?" He asked her, almost worried about her.

Their stare felt like minutes, but was cut off when they heard footsteps nearing them. Darcy looked in to his eyes, shook her head and then grabbed his wrist, running in to an empty classroom. She threw her bag on to one of the tables and then walked over to Luke who was standing on the other side of the classroom.

His hands found their way around his neck and his lips placed themselves on hers. The second Luke understood what happened, he set his hands on her waist, pulling her hips in to his and kissing back roughly. Her hands played with his hair whilst their kiss developed.

After a few seconds, they broke apart and stared in to each others eyes. "Is this what you've been trying to do all this time?" She asked him, he just stared back. "What about Maxwell?" He asked, she took no time but connected their lips again. His hands lowering and finally finding their way underneath her skirt, making Darcy jump.

Darcy's hands were playing with the hem of Luke's shirt, and then they started to roam his stomach. It was just then she heard sounds and everything shattered and fell apart.

This was the end of everything.
