Darcy walked down the halls, completely alone. It was like she was back to the beginning, basically friend-less. Cara and Lola had become her bullies, they would be back at school tomorrow and she was frightening every second of it.

Michael and Calum were scared to even talk to Darcy after the fight she had with Ashton. Darcy had promised Ashton she would stop hanging out with Luke, but as a punishment he had still given her the mostly silent treatment for four days now. He probably made Michael and Calum promise they would do too.

Friday was just three days ago. As promised Luke and Darcy both went to school. They decided to meet up by both going to the toilet at the beginning of second period. Darcy had to hold back her tears again, when she told Luke her choice.

Luke was heart broken, he made Darcy terrified. She tried to calm him down but he punched a locker hard enough for him to go to the nurse's office, he ended up with three broken knuckles and a bruised wrist. It was currently wrapped and every time Darcy saw Luke, he'd turn around and walk away.

One week and then it was spring break, she'd just have to get through this one week.

Darcy was completely on time for first period which was English. She decided to sit in the front this time, she did not have to see Luke this way. He walked in one minute before the bell rang and he completely ignored her. It hurt Darcy so much, but it was her own fault.

She told him they could not be friends or more. She did it all so Ashton would forgive her but instead he had left her as well and she was completely alone. It was so painful, she was indeed thinking of transferring.

English passed by slowly and at the end of the period, Ms. Edgar wanted to talk to them again, "How it the tutoring going?" She asked and it was quiet for a few seconds. Darcy looked at Luke who was ignoring her, still.

"It's going fine, we had studied two times last week and we're planning another tutor session today in the afternoon." Luke said, Darcy smiled.

No matter how hurt Luke was because of Darcy, he did not want to bring Darcy more pain, he covered for her, even if they did not study once last week and they totally were not planning on studying this afternoon. "Sounds good, glad to hear everything is going well." Ms. Edgar said and they both nodded, left the class room and both went another way.

Darcy bit her lip, so sad she could not just talk to him anymore, but she made her promise and she had already broken too many these last few weeks. She grabbed the hem of her sweater and looked down, Luke's shirt was underneath it. She had been wearing it too much but she was not going to take it off.

The next period went by normal, and then it was recess. Darcy dreaded this most, so she headed over to her locker to get her lunch. She had stopped going to the cafeteria a long time ago. It was a nice sunny day out so she walked outside and sat somewhere quiet in the court yard.

This was not her favorite way to spend time, alone. But she had been alone for a while now and she started to get used to it. She was scrolling through her Twitter feed, another Tweet from Lola. Darcy found it so pathetic, Lola probably thought she was some kind of Gossip Girl, tweeting things about the 'popular' people every now and then.

A few were about Darcy and Luke, but she stopped a few days ago. A new tweet appeared.

@LolaRoison: Get ready everyone, Cara and I are ready to come back tomorrow.

Darcy rolled her eyes slightly, they were probably planning some big entrance that literally nobody would care about.

After another few minutes, the bell rang and Darcy got up to go to class. It was time for Social Studies, which was a class she shared with Luke, hopefully she could indeed catch a glimpse from him this time.

She was let down when he didn't.

A notification then made Darcy look at her phone again. A new tweet from her ex-best friend.

@LolaRoison: Especially you @DarcyIrwin get ready for out comeback.

This was the moment Darcy got slightly scared, she thought they had stopped harassing her, but she was so wrong. She turned around to see Luke finally made eye contact with her, a smile of pity flashed on his face. Darcy had a straight face, now scared for tomorrow.

She was going to get laughed at even more if she did not show up tomorrow, she had no choice.
