The sound of a phone ringing was what woke them up, both groaning, they looked up to search where the sound had been coming from. Luke got up and walked over to his desk where his phone was laying, the called ID said Ashton, which surprised him slightly.

"Ashton?" Luke said, this made Darcy sit up straight and furrowing her eyebrows. "Yes, surprise wow." He said sarcastically. "Listen up, tell me if you know anything, Darcy has not been home for two nights in a row, I thought she was just in her room but she wasn't. So if you know anything then tell me." Ashton said, Luke just raised his eyebrows.

"So Darcy is missing and you ask me if I know where she is?" Luke repeated, Darcy shook her head wildly, signaling he can not tell her brother she is with him. "Sorry, no." Luke said, trying to end the conversation. "Okay, thanks." Ashton said and ended the call.

"I swear if you don't go home he'll file a report." Luke laughed and Darcy groaned. "I don't want to go home." She said while laying back down. Luke joined her again, draping his arm around her waist loosely. "You have to at some point." He said, and Darcy knew she had to, she just did not want to start the conversation with Ashton.

It was Thursday and Luke and Darcy have both been skipping school for the whole week basically. They did not do anything special instead, they spent most of their time cuddling in bed, hiding Darcy when Luke's parents were home. They did in fact not know Darcy was here, and it was going to stay that way.

"Guess I need to return to the hell hole then." Darcy then sighed and got out of the bed, letting Luke groan for the sudden loss of warmth.

They have spent every minute together. Darcy realized she indeed could trust Luke. The first night here, Luke had put her to bed and she woke up because he had given her a cup of tea and some diner leftovers. "It's not much," Luke had said. Then they had been whispering until one AM, until finally they fell asleep in each others arms.

The next morning when they woke up, it all felt weirdly natural. There were no labels or strings, they just knew the feelings there were.

"Should I drop you off?" Luke asked her while she slipped on the black skinny jeans that had dried up by now. "Yeah, just make sure Ashton doesn't see you." She said, grabbing one of Luke's t-shirts from the ground. "You look cute." He grinned from the bed where he was still laying. "Shut up, put on clothing." She laughed, throwing another t-shirt to his head.

When he had gotten ready after a lot of groaning, they walked down the stairs. Luke made them both cereal and then they walked over to Luke's car. There was a lot of annoying groaning going on, until the car stopped.

Darcy looked up from her phone and saw they were in front of her own house. Darcy got out but walked over to Luke's window. "Thanks for dropping me off." She smiled, staring in to Luke's eyes. "Always." He laughed. "See you at school tomorrow, enemy?" She grinned back at him. "Sure." He laughed back.

He leaned forward to kiss Darcy's cheek lazily. Darcy smiled at him and walked away. "Oh and Darcy?" Luke said and she turned back around. "I hate you." He smirked, she laughed. "I hate you too." She said and then he drove off.

She stared at the car driving off for a second until she heard the front door opening. "You little lying sl-" Ashton came running out of the front door, stopped by Calum and Michael "Ashton don't!" Calum yelled while holding him back. Darcy's eyes widened and she had to catch a breath.

"Get inside, now!" Ashton yelled, Darcy nodded, stared at the ground while walking inside. It was a mistake that she had put on a t-shirt of Luke, it had been all she was wearing the past three days so it was a habit. "Get dressed in something decent." Ashton said when he saw the t-shirt she was wearing, recognizing it was Luke's.

Darcy nodded and immediately got up. She rushed up the stairs and walked in to her room. She quickly pulled off the t-shirt, hid it under her bed and then put on a white fluffy sweater. Then, she walked down the stairs shyly and saw the three boys sitting on the couch. "Sit." Ashton ordered her.

She should not argue him about how bossy was being, she really messed up. "Was Luke lying on the phone." Ashton said, not even looking in to her eyes. "Yes. He did it because I asked him." Darcy spoke, she was scared of him right now.

Calum was staring at her, he was having a puzzled look on his face, he probably did not recognize her anymore. He probably thought she had changed. Michael looked sad, like he wanted the old Darcy back. They did not realize the 'old' Darcy was still sitting in front of them.

"Why did you disappear. And you better not lie to me." He said, finally connecting his eyes with Darcy's. "It was not my intention." She started to say. "So what happened then?" Ashton spat. "Let her finish." Michael said softly while staring at Darcy. Ashton took a deep breath and Darcy continued.

"When I left school Monday because I heard people in the bathrooms talking about me, I wanted to walk home. Then rain started to pour, Luke found me and I broke. I cried in to his arms, he calmed me down and took me home with him. He took care of me, I was going to pass out if he didn't take me home." Darcy said, playing with her hands and then continuing her story.

"So then he hid me in his house, we talked a lot and we are okay. We are not dating, we're just friends." She said and then hopefully stared at Ashton.

"Luke can not be friends with girls, the only type of friendship he knows with them is a friend with benefits." Ashton spat. "Did you sleep with him?" He asked her, Darcy, Michael and Calum all widened their eyes. "Excuse me?" She said, staring at her brother. "No of course not!" She yelled at this point.

"I don't want you being with him!" Ashton yelled at her and she just stared at him. "You can not make me do that! It is my choice!" She yelled back.

"It's either him or me!"
