Updates- A Very Brief Rant

Authors that haven't updated in a long time should put discontinued or in no,d next to the titles. For example, you don't write a story and leave off at a cliffhanger AND THE LAST UPDATE WAS THREE YEARS AGO! THREE YEARS! AND YOU SAID YOU HAD IT ALL PLANNED OUT! I MEAN, YOU COULDN'T HAVE TAKEN ONE DAY OUT OF THOSE 1095  DAYS TO UPDATE! OR TAKE IT DOWN! YOU DON'T DO THAT! ITS RUDE TO READERS! THREE YEARS IS A LITTLE LONG! EVEN IF YOU NO LONGER CARE FOR THE STORY, PUT DISCONTINUED IN THE DESCRIPTION OR IN THE TITLE! ITS NOT THAT DIFFICULT!

What also annoys me is when the author decides that instead of progressing the story, they were going to re write the same scene over and over again and publish it each time.

Thank you,
