I don't know what has gotten into me. I just follow my instincts and Derek's scent. I really shouldn't be here right now. But I just don't understand what's happening to me, and why now.

Why can't I just love like a normal person for a few days? With no drama and deaths to worry about, like my own.

Why is this happening to me now?

"Derek?" I call his name as I open the abandoned rail station's door.

If he heard me, he doesn't answer me. I lean against the walls and hear two voices, two voices I know too well, Isaac and Derek.

"The full moon's coming, Derek."

"I'm aware of that." The Alpha answers coldly.

Peeking from the corner, I can see him opening a trunk. Erica pulls up heavy chains from inside. The attached manacles have screws in them, designed to be twisted into the bone of the wrist and ankles.

"These look comfortable." She ironically says and raises her eyebrows.

"You said you were going to teach us how to change whenever we wanted." Just hearing his voice brings chills to my spine.

"There hasn't been time." Derek declares as he walks away from his mad Betas.

"But if you have to lock us up on the full moon, that means you're alone against the Argents, right?" Isaac asks once again.

"They haven't found us-"

"Yet. So how about we forget the Kanima-" Isaac tries.

Derek growls to interrupt Isaac

"There was something about the way
Gerard looked at it. He wasn't afraid. At all. I don't know what he knows or what he's planning. But I'm sure about one thing... We have to find it first."

"Hello?" I call out, so I don't startle them as I enter the station.

"What are you doing here?" Derek asks but what bothers me is the fact he can't see I'm slowly slipping into insanity.

"Walking around trying to find a purpose to live." I growl at him and shake my head.

"How are you?" Isaac asks. "Are you okay?"

This time I don't answer back because Isaac gets me. He sees I'm not fine. I just let the tears fall and my body fall with them.
