"Mitch w-what. How? NO. I refuse to believe it.

Well that made me feel ssoooo much better.

"No Kirstie. I-I did." I was choking on my words fighting through the tears.

"I-I. Mitch lets talk about this another time but you need to come home. Da- I mean Jack, has already been arrested. Mom's looking for you too."

"O-ok."

During the walk I had somehow managed to stop my tears. A tear would slip here and there but I can manage.

We walked for a while until we heard a loud noise. We both tried to find the source immediately. There was no one around us so we kept walking at a faster pace. At one point I felt a pair of hand on me.

I was going to use my powers when I felt a sort of cloth being shoved on my face bringing back the worst memories. I looked over at Kirstie started to feel drowsy. Wait! She had a cloth on her face too.

Far too soon.

It was black.

I woke up in a dark cement room to the sound of muffled weeping. Kirstie. My head whipped to the side. There she was tied up in ropes with a gag just like me. I wanted to figure out a way to take the ropes off but they were too tight. Leading me to my last and final solution. My Powers. The only problem was that I had only learned to control water, levitate people and create some sort of shield so I went and thought of an element.

Fire.

I though of everything heat which warmed me up a bit and also suprised my nostrils with the smell of smoke. I looked over at Kirstie who was staring with wide eyes and whispered a quick "I'll explain later." After I untied my gag.

I untied the rope on her hands and her gag giving her some time to get used to talking freely before she asked any questions. We heard a loud noise.

We looked to the source of the noise and saw 2 large doors open which you would never guess was there revealing a man. And a cocky looking one too.

Once he saw that we were untied he turned pale but didn't show his nervousness at our skills.

Although I could sense nervousness, anxiousness and a bit of hope. Mostly confidence though.

"You looked like some fine toys for us here at the company so I took you. That's it but you will never leave. And if you try I will kill you both." He said coldly.

I was suprised at his bluntness none the less but I guess that's what happens when you gather far too much confidence.

I stepped fowards to show I wasn't scared. He looked at me like he was amused. Almost in disbelief that someone like me even had the guts to look him in the eye.

"I'm not afraid of you." I said strongly. Kirstie touched my shoulder to keeo me calm and keep us from getting killed. It was now that I realized she was crying.

"I see you think you can try and intimidate me to let you go?" He said as if nothing could ever scare him. That made me angry. Without even noticing I was forming sharp icicles in my palms. I felt them on my fingertip and beamed.

I stepped up close to him and he didn't even flinch. Kirstie gasped and was slightly yelling at me to leave it alone. Nope.

I let the icicles get moderatley big until they could see it was coming out of my hands. I took the icicles away jn one hand and tried to see if I could use 2 powers at once. I made a small shoving gesture and to my suprise it work.

I pinned him against the wall. His eyes widened in shock. Kirstie gasped.

I held up the icicle to his neck and whispered "Lead us to the exit and this sharp piece of ice here won't end your life."

I said it quite harshly too.

"Take a right out that door." He nearly whimpered. I lifted him up into the air a couple feet and dropped him grabbing Kirstie's hand not even realizing how shocked she was.

We exited and I somehow knew exactly where we were and exactly how to get to Kit's car to get home.
