Chapter Fourteen- Why Did You

He didn't know why he kissed her , he didn't know if he pulled away first if she did .

But there she was , standing in front of him , shocked from the kiss they just shared , the floor wet from the snow that they had brought in and his fur coat still on her shoulders .

"You kissed me" she said .

"I- I did" he stuttered.

"Why ?" She asked looking at him "don't say why not "

"I - I don't know why" he replied . "I don't "

"You can't - UGH ! You can't !" She walked away from him "you can't just do that !" She groaned in frustration "you can't ! You can't do that ! No !" She walked around the room and began to pace . "You can't do that Ren ! No Ren don't do that!"

"Rey I'm -"

"Don't say your sorry ! Don't ! You can't do that !"

"Can't do what Rey ?" He asked getting up to come to her.

"You can't kiss me ! You killed someone last night !"

"Rey... I did that to him  protect you -"

"No ! I don't need you protecting me !  I don't need you to do stuff for me ! I'm fine ! I don't need nor want you to kiss me ! You've ruined my life !"

"Rey... I got you out of that town of mud to this beautiful palace ... I gave you gowns made of silk and fur coats ! I gave you meals that are so rich you could ever afford -"

"I didn't ask you too ! No one asked you too ! No asked for you to barge in on my wedding and take me ! I was going to be happy with Finn ! We were going to get married and take care of the farm then go and travel around ... maybe make our way to America ..." she yelled.

"Rey please -" he went to grab her hands .

"Don't touch me ! I don't want you anywhere near me !" She snapped and grabbed her robe .

"Reyhanne where are you going ?" He asked.

"Anywhere but here" she said and opened the door to the hall and slammed their door .

That morning he turned to see no sleeping form next to him . She wasn't fast asleep with her hands under her head and her hair wasn't loose around her face . She didn't have her mouth slightly open mouthing words in her sleep. She wasn't there.

He sighed and got out of bed and grabbed his own coat . He walked to the balcony and grabbed his cigar , he lit the cigar and began to smoke as he looked out to the city , Naboo was waking up .

Their door opened and he turned to see Phasma with fresh towels and bedding.

"Your majesty ... I came in to replace your liens... I'm sorry her majesty is usually in here ... while you at work... speaking of lady Ren , I need to draw her a bath , is she done in the bathroom or -"

"She's not here... she's in another room ..."

"Is she ill ? I should take her to the medical ward -"

"She's fine ... Just leave the towels and sheets on the couch ... you can come back later to set them"

"Very well your majesty ... have a nice day..." she smiled and walked out.

He sighed and rubbed his hands and then put his cigar out and walked to the bathroom to take a shower.

As he was scrubbing his hair and he heard the door open. He looked from the curtain to see a small hand place a large towel down and then walk out.
