Chapter Thirty•Three- Two Mintues Again

Ben was sitting at his desk in his office as he was looking over the new tax fund , Rey was off finishing her children education bill that was about to be put in order and she said she wanted to talk to him.

He didn't have time this morning since he had a meeting with General Hux .

He sighed as he ran over his face and pushed his glasses up his nose. His door opened and he didn't bother to look up until he smelt a wonderful scent fill the room.

"Rey" he smiled "and food ... boy am I glad to see you" he said motioning for her to sit across from him so they could lunch.

"I figured you hadn't eaten lunch yet and I said I needed to talk to you" she placed the food down on his desk.

"Thank you sweetheart ... really it's wonderful" he said taking a bite of his chicken.

"Ben... " she grabbed his hand and squeezed it "I'm pregnant"

Ben's jaw dropped and his eyes flew down to her stomach . "You're ? You're pregnant?!" He asked.

"Yes... I found out last night ... I was going to tell you but you got to our room and flopped on the bed ... then this morning you were in a rush..." she explained to him.

Ben walked around the desk and leaned against the edge . "Oh Rey... I'm so happy" he leaned down and kissed her head . "I'm so ... oh Rey you have no idea how happy I am ! Thank you sweetheart" he said .

"Ben... the thing is " she gulped "I don't want a baby"

"What ? You don't -"

"I don't ... I told you I don't... I said I didn't want children till I was a little older in a couple years from now... " she rubbed her arm.

"But ... you're pregnant Rey... for almost three months I've been trying to get you pregnant ... sweetheart ... I want a baby and now that you're pregnant and -"

"I don't want a baby !" She snapped standing up . "I don't want a baby now ! I don't want a baby now or ever ! I don't want children ! We'll have the Skywalker and Palaptine bloodline die with us ... to hell with what people think ! I won't have a child " she said .

"What do you plan to do then ? Hmm? Abort it?" He asked .

"Why can't I ? I'm 20 Ben ! I can make my own decisions without having to tell them ! You're not the boss of me !"

"Rey ... I'm you're husband ... that's my child too" he said grabbing her hips and pressing her against his chest .

"Ben ... I'm getting rid of it... and that's it... I'm leaving to get it done -"

"No ... Rey as your husband I forbid it !" He snapped back.

"I don't need your permission" she sneered looking up at him.

"Rey I'm the czar -"

"Ben ... I don't care ! You can either support me or not ... but either way I'm doing it and I won't change my mind ... nothing you can say or do will stop me ... do you not see that I do not want to do so ?!" She said her eyes growing with tears "I don't want this ... fetus !.... I don't want it ..." she ran out of his office crying .

He ran after her and stopped her in the hall. "Rey please -"

"Let me go Ben " she snapped .

"Please just let me talk ... that's it ... okay... "

"Two minutes... two minutes that's it !" She repeated from that night .

"I love you ... and I want to have a child with you... not for the bloodlines or for a political prop ... Reyhanne ... I want to have a child with this beautiful strong wonderful smart woman in front of me ... and yes I mean I could wait a handful of years all I know is that I don't want to wait... I don't want to wait to start a family with you... I want a child and I want to see your stomach grow ... and see you're feet swell and have you throw up in the middle of night while I hold your hair back ...i want to go out in the middle of the night to get you your cravings .... I want to see you all sweaty after you gave birth with a little baby in your hands ... your smile and my eyes ... your chin and cheeks and my mop of hair ... your personality and my height... Rey please... I just want you and a baby" he went on his knees "I'm begging you"

She felt tears fill up and roll down her eyes . He stood up and threw his arms around her again and she cried in his chest.

"Okay" she nodded , ruining his shirt with her tears ... "you have to promise me all those things ... holding back my hair and the food ... and that you'll be there ... forever and ever... promise me "

"Oh Reyhanne I promise sweetheart" he leaned down and cupped her face gently as he kissed her cheek.

I really want to make the emotional struggle with Rey and this pregnancy BE know because I know that my aunt had this struggle and this only made the bond between her and her child and husband super strong ...
