Confusion.
That's the only thing in my head right now. I am confused, big time.
I looked around the deserted road. There was nothing, no one, only me. A big truck pulled my smashed car an hour ago. I couldn't speak, could not even think of anything. There was nothing. I felt empty.
I stared at the distance, that's all I did.
I chewed on my bottom lip when I turned my head at the road where the ambulance has gone. Should I follow it? I was fighting with myself if I should. But Im too numb, too scared to find out what happened. I shook my head in disbelief, everything was just a joke. I wanted to smirk, but all I did was to frown. Unbelievable.
My hands were starting get pale. I jerked on the ground because of the sudden beat of my heart, and I felt like I was electrified with something. I shivered at the sudden cold creeping on the tip of my fingers. It spread all over my warm body. I coughed, tried to gag myself when it get's cold in the intersection of my neck and body. My eyes widened in realization.
Soon enough, everything was cold.
With all the strength that I still have, I stand and frowned to myself. I felt light. I bowed my head, stared on the ground and started walking.
I didn't know where to go in particular, I was just walking down the road. My cold hands were inside my pocket, weirdly, the coldness of my legs were radiating to my finger tips. I ignored the feeling.
The wind blew the earth, the small plants and some trees around swayed. I stared at the sky. It was full moon. A smile crept onto my lips because of the stars, twinkling in my eyes.
Sighing, I looked in front of me and pursed my lips. I was in front of the Hospital, my feet has their own minds, that I did not even notice that I was on my spot.
"Im so excited to see her! Ghad, tell her to stay!" A familiar voice said from behind. "Awe, you should have tell me earlier! I was just in the library doing my lab report!" I could hear the sadness on her voice, and I was so sure that the girl was also frowning. "Did she change?!"
Ayokong lumingon. I couldn't feel my heart, I was just there, standing with my cold figure. I could feel emotions and knew it at the back of my mind. But my heart was not beating. I guess, it was just in my head.
"Ella! Shut up! Yes, I admit it! Namiss ko siya, pero there's no way na maiinlove ulit ako sakanya pag nakita ko ulit siya!"
I smirked. I decided to turn around, look at her beautiful face. "Dennise," my voice came out so soft, softer than I ever expected. Her eyes met mine but I was not sure if she was really staring at me. She was smiling, bitting her lip like she was denying something.
"Well, there are possibilities na ma-inlove ako sakanya! Pero, to tell you what! Hindi po ako easy to get kagaya dati! Pag hirapan niya ako!" Then she laughed.
I shook my head in disbelief. Lumapit ako sakanya at napakunot ako when her lips formed a line. I stared at her confusedly. Her brows were knitted in confusion, and pain flashed in her eyes.
"Weird." I whispered under my breath.
"Ells, I feel weird." Dennise also whispered. "I mean, Im feeling scared, something's wrong."
I immediately turned my body towards the Hospital that she was staring at. People in white were running, in panic. Ambulance stopped in front. For a moment, everything went silent. There was someone lying on the stretcher, lifeless. I glanced at Dennise and she was stunned on her spot. Her mouth were slightly open with her blue eyes wide open.
