I jerked on my seat when the bell rung unexpectedly. My eyes were wide open in an instant. Someone flicked me on my forehead, causing me to wince.
"Wake up, sleepy head!" She grinned.
I frowned.
My classmates were scattered inside the room. I shut my eyes again and pressed my eyes on my arm. The noise coming from the students were loud. I feel like Im inside the mall or somewhere. Sighing, I let myself fell asleep for a brief seconds. Then there was a sudden slight slap at the back of my head.
I immediately stand on my chair and turn around to hit my best friend with my Biology book. She dramatically screamed, causing me to roll my eyes.
"What's happening?!" The guy in yellow uniform asked. "Anastasia, are you okay?!" He came to Ana's side and checked if she's okay.
Anastasia a.k.a Ana tried her best to dodge my stares but she failed miserably. She nodded her head slowly. I smirked to myself before getting all my things on my desk.
"Im fine, Mr. Bio! We're going to lunch now!" She hurried to my side. "Curse you, Athena!"
Kainis. Ako na naman may kasalanan, ganun?! Lagi naman. Sighing, I stopped and faced her. "First of all, you hit me at the back of my head! And I told you to stop doing it!"
"It's not like, hindi mo ginagawa saakin yun!" She retorted.
"Well, at least pag gising ka! Hindi pag tulog!"
"Eh bakit ba tulog ka ng tulog?!"-Ana
"Eh bakit ba lagi kang gising?!" Balik kong tanong. Tho, It does not make sense at all.
She frowned. "Because I was reading your book!" She waved two books in front of me. "I was calling your phone last night! Pero, you were busy daw sabi ni Aleck! And this morning, tinulugan mo lang ako the whole two period!"
"Ano bang kailangan mo?!" Irita kong tanong at napasapo sa noo. "Im tired, alright? Im sorry kung nakatulog ako kagabi, I was just... Busy doing homework."
"Yep! Homework, but the truth was, you were writing crappy stories, again!"-Ana
"Best friend ba talaga kita?" Pasimangot kong tanong. I snatched the books on her hands and stared at it. "What's wrong with my books, anyway?"
She rolled her eyes, "Ghad! Walang happy ending! Yung kwento mo! Walang kwenta! Walang point!"
I gasped in shock. I glared at Ana who only put her hands on her hips. Biatch! She's serious.
"You're not the writer, I don't care." I shrugged.
Tumalikod na ako at saka naglakad patungo sa cafeteria. Students turned their heads at me when I came in. I frowned. Ganito sila lagi! Nakakainis. I never wished for their attention, but they're just... I don't know. Irritating.
I came in the double doors where a familiar girl welcomed me with a scowl. Ana came to my side with her weird wide smile.
"Hi, Elizabeth Samantha Gamboa!" Ana greeted before I did. I shut my mouth and stared at my best friend in annoyance. "What? Im just saying, hi!" She shrugged innocently.
"Hello, Ana." The girl whispered with her usual cold voice. "Anything you want today?"
"I want Athena's favourite chocolate fudge cake, made by you!" She winked. "Athena! Money, please!"
Hindi ko siya pinansin at nanatiling nakatitig sa babaeng nakatayo sa harapan ng computer. She gave me a cold stare before getting the cake at the fridge.
