The next day I was not able to see Dennise since I couldn't wait for her until 8 in the morning. I do have job to do din naman, kaya 7:30 palang nasa office na ako. It was the second day of my formal day at the office and I wanted to go home and be with Dennise nalang.
It's Wednesday, morning lang siya mag wowork, so it means she would be home half day and the whole night! I could spend my time with her, not unless may iuuwi akong paper works. Hope none.
"How many wines do we still have in our stock room then?" I asked Nikko who was walking with me going at the bar.
"We have 205 bottles of white wine in our own stock room Dan, plus 500 bottles at the basement."-Nikko
"Hmm, do you think it's enough for tonight? Our first opening?" Takang tanong ko after opening the bar's door. Arching my left eye brow, I looked around the place, "huh! This is huge."
Nikko grinned, "I knew you'll like it Dan! I chose the best room for our new business."
"Good to know. Now show me your job for the night."
Nikko nervously gave me the clip board before walking towards the bar counter. He glanced at me and made it's way at the back of it, picking two shot glasses with empty bottle of vodka at the other hand.
"Im not that skilled but..."-Nikko
"Do your best," I cut him off whilst eyeing him intently.
He started to pour an imaginary alcohol at the two cups and I shook my head because of how clumsy he was. I walked closer to him and pointed at his elbow.
"Im not really good at this."-Nikko
"Your elbow should be higher and straight, firm and strong. May muscles ka naman eh, so you can do it. Put an angle on it as you pour the alcohol," sabi ko pa at kaagad naman niyang ginawa, "do it sexily like you're flirting with a girl. Then shempre add some tricks with the bottles and shot glasses."
"Like roll it mid air then catch it after?"-Nikko
"Parang ganun na nga! While doing it, dapat nag lalagay ka na ng wine sa shot glasses!"
I shook my head when Nikko agreed with me. Sure he does not know what he was doing, but when he's in it naman matututunan niya din, just need some more practices and determination.
"Okay na ba to?" He asked after 10 times of trying every tricks we watched on youtube, "or konting ikot pa?"
Taas kilay akong tumingin sakanya at bumalik ulit sa clip board, "it's fine Nikko! Huwag lang masyado, you'll crash everything pag nag kamali ka." Factly speaking his job is hard, watching the video makes me sick.
Lumapit siya saakin after and pointed at the list, "They are the people who's coming today to taste our wines!"
"Means sila yung clients?" Takang tanong ko, tumango siya kaya napatingin ulit ako sa list. There were 10 people on the list and one of them was Ara, "Alright, what time ba sila darating?"
"Right now na Dan! In 5 minutes."-Nikko
"Gulo mo kausap, right now tapus five minutes... Yung totoo?"
Natawa kami pareho at sabay na naglakad palabas ng bar. We climb the stairs going at the main lobby and we came at the exact time. 10 professional businessman entered the main lobby's glass door. I couldn't feel my soul, it ran around the building again. I should stop spacing out, tsk.
"Welcome to Fresh Wine's company," I bowed my head to show some respect, "I am Alyssa Dan Valdez, the new CEO of the wine company."
