Beep Beep Beep
Argh first day back at school is always the worst.
I stumble out of bed and start to get dressed. I slip on my high waisted black jeans, khaki green short top and a longish speckled, dark grey cardigan.
I head to the bathroom and put some mascara on. I decide to leave my long, blonde hair as natural waves. My hair has always been naturally wavy but I like it...most of the time.

Just after I get to school, the bell rings and I head to English.
"Good morning class! I hope you all had a magnificent Summer and you're now ready and refreshed to start a new school year" Mrs Chambers says beaming with enthusiasm.
Mrs Chambers is a very enthusiastic and joyful teacher. She always comes into class with a huge smile on her face and tries her best to inject motivation into us.
"Okay class, so today we're-"
Knock knock knock
Mrs Chambers gets interrupted by a knock of the door and in walks the principal with a new kid. A boy.
"I am terribly sorry to interrupt Miss but I've got a new student for you today" he says, gently pushing the boy into the classroom.
The boy is wearing black jeans, a black t-shirt and a grey hoodie with the hood pulled up over his head, so you can barely see his face.
"This is Chandler Riggs" the principal states.
"Okay, great. It's lovely to see a new face! Why don't you take a seat over there, next to Madison" Mrs Chambers says, pointing to the seat next to me.
He quickly walks my way, keeping his head down and hood up and perches himself in his seat.
I take a quick glance at him and I now notice his dark brown, almost black hair that sweeps across his face.
"Get your pens out class, you'll be needing to write a few things down first"
I get mine out and glance to my left and see that Chandler is frantically rummaging through his bag. I see a sign of panic make its way across his face.
"Here" I say, offering him a pen as I know I've got a spare one.
He looks over and takes it, the corner of his lips lift up into a very slight smirk but he does not saying anything.
"Okay class, as I was saying...we are going to be starting off the year with a project" she announces.
The class groans. "Oh come on, don't be so negative class!" She tries to motivate us.
"Okay, I've already put you in partners" she says as she picks up her list.
"The partners are...Jack and Dan, Lauren and Tom, Allison and Matt" she carries on but I can't remember the other names.
Me and my best friend, Lydia give each other a look, a smile creeps across our faces as our names have not been called yet.
The teacher continues to call out name "Lydia and Harley" my smiles fades.
I guess it's good for Lydia because she has a huge crush on Harley. He's the school bad boy.
"And finally...Madison and Chandler" I look over to Chandler his head is still low.
"You have your partners now, if you don't know them already, you'll need to get to know them in order to produce the project" she pauses.
"For the project I want you to create an A3 poster each, all about the other person" she states. I see Chandler look up and his eyes widen.
"Yes, this means you will have to spend a lot of time talking and getting to know your partner. You will have two weeks and after that two weeks you'll introduce your partner to the class" she explains.

I hope you're looking forward to reading my new book. In this book, I have written Chandler as a fairly shy character. He is basically me but the shyness is more emphasised. I am very shy and hate public speaking but once you get to know me you won't be able to shut me up. Chandler is going to be fairly similar to that. Let me know what you think so far.
