"Madison, get up your late! School starts soon!" Mum screams as she bursts through the door.
"Shit! Sorry I must have slept through my alarm. I can't believe it, that never happens!" I yell back as I shoot out of bed.
"It's fine, Maddie. Just hurry up and I'll drive you to school" she says back.
I chuck some clothes on, tug my brush through my bed head hair and put a little mascara on. I skip breakfast and me and mum sprint out the door and rush to the car.

I get to school and the bell has already gone. I check the time on my phone as I'm rushing to my first lesson, English. 9:45am. "Shit!" I say under my breath. I'm 45 minutes late.
I get to my classroom, knock and wait. "Please enter!" Mrs Chambers calls. I walk in embarrassment written all over my face. "Miss Blake, you're 45 minutes late" she says with disappointment, she only refers to us by our last names when she is angry. "Yeah I know, I'm sorry. I slept through my alarm" I hear some laughs from the class and I give a glare. I realise what a mess I must look like.
"Okay, well...I have asked the class to sit in their partners I gave last lesson. You remember yours, right Madison?"
"Yeah of course" I say. I glance at the class and see Chandler sat in the corner at the back and I walk over.
When I sit down, I quickly get my phone out and sort my hair out in the front facing camera. "Hey Chandler" I say, putting my phone back.
He gives me a small smile but does not say anything.
Weird. He seemed fine the other day.

The lesson has almost finished now but Chandler hasn't really spoken to me whole time. Mrs Chambers has been yammering on the whole lesson whilst we've just been taking notes.
Ring
The sign for the end of the lesson has spoken. Once again, Chandler has disappeared out of the class within seconds.
I rush out after him, whip my head left and then right. Chandler is nowhere to be seen.
What the?
This boy is so confusing. I guess I can speak to him later.

P.s. I don't know if you noticed but I have finally picked a surname for Madison and Lydia. Although I did ask you for ideas, I actually came up with Madison's last name. However, Lydia's last name I took from your suggestions. Thank you for everyone's ideas. I decided on the name Madison Blake (as you may have seen in this chapter) but I'll tell you Lydia's last name when it is mentioned in a chapter.
