Chandler's POV
I wait behind the corner for a minute.

What do I do? Should I shoot from this situation before she sees me? No, I should confront her. But...what if she runs away again?

Why have I gotten myself into this situation? What is wrong with me?

I decide to take the risk.

I take deep breaths and slowly emerge from the corner.

Both pairs of eyes widen.

Lydia's POV

Chandler emerges from the corner.

I quickly stand up and take a step towards him.

"Chandler, she doesn't need this right now. Just leave" I tell him.

"No, Lydia. We need to talk about this. Me and Madison. It has nothing to do with you!" his voice raises a little.

"I'm her best friend. She needs me. She told me everything. I'll always be here for her. You're just causing her more stress" I explain.

I glance over at Madison to make sure she's okay. She is now sat with her knees up against her chest.

"Please" he begs. I sigh.

"What did she mean by 'You know what I'm like'?" He asks nervously.

Suddenly I hear Maddie get up and run down the hallway to the nearest exit.

"Look what you've done now" I glare at him and head after Madison.

Chandler's POV

I should have left it.

I should have waited.
