That last incident was followed by many more over the course of two weeks.
They always ended up drinking together and sleeping together. There was an unspoken rule that when they drink, they would let go of their inhibitions and succumb to their physical desires.
Both of them gave different reasons to be around each other.
When Mika returned her clothes, they decided to talk about the upcoming tryouts while drinking.
She had a successful project, she invited Mika to celebrate. Mika did the same. They celebrated achievements together.
When they were feeling down, they would call each other up and end up drinking.
Last night, the night before the tryouts, they drank to wish each other luck.
But it seemed nothing but excuses because as time passed, the amount of alcohol they consumed before ending up in bed lessened.
They only had a bottle of beer each before they started making out last night.
The mornings were better, too. After their first few nights together, the awkwardness went away.
They didn't and still don't talk about what's going on between them, they just exchange secretive smiles.
Their set up was working well for them.
Right now, Mika was taking a bath in her bathroom and she just can't help but think.
Think of what this means to Mika. To her.
She was always the one who initiated their rendezvous.
Yes, Mika also invited her to drink but it was always her who made the first move.
She has long admitted to herself that she likes Mika. She was very much physically attracted to her. But she also likes to just spend time with her.
They don't just drink and have sex. They actually talk before that.
They talked about what they did with their days, talked about their plans, their problems, and they also told each other jokes. They talked about their likes and dislikes.
And she liked the Mika she got to know.
The question is: does Mika feel the same way?
She figured that since Mika was not opposing her advances that Mika did not have any problem with what they were doing.
But does that mean she likes her, too?
Or is it purely physical?
Because physically, they were very much compatible. Extremely compatible.
But there were also some questions she has to answer: does she like Mika romantically? Were her feelings even real? What would it mean for their relationship in the future?
She can't answer the first two yet. What she did know was that if her feelings stuck, then maybe she would do something to not get a divorce. If it didn't, divorce it is.
Mika went out of the bathroom just around the same time she finished cooking breakfast so her train of thought was cut.
Mika looked ravishing in her tryout clothes. Or maybe she was being biased because she wanted to ravish Mika.
She shook her head.
Oh, no. She was turning into a pervert!
"Why are you shaking your head?" Mika asked before sitting down.
