After the scene that they caused, they both decided to turn a blind eye to the clinginess of Ara and Den.
It was tough but it was something they had to do.
They were volleyball players. Professional volleyball players. They couldn't let their personal problems affect the whole team.
Besides, just like during the tryouts, they gave each other secretive smiles, winks, and other gestures that were reserved for only the two of them.
They have learned to cope for the next few days.
Yes, they were still jealous but when they were together, they made up for it.
Earnestly made up for it, if you know what she means.
When the trainings were held in Rizal Complex, they stayed in Mika's condo. When it was in BEG, they stayed in hers.
Point is, they were always together.
And most of the time, it made them almost late for trainings.
If you'll ask her, she thinks it's totally fine for them to be late because even before they reach the gym, they've already had their own warm ups and exercises.
When she told Mika that, Mika turned beet red and bit her in the shoulder.
She loves it when she makes Mika blush.
Their tardiness also opened up a lot of interactions between the two of them even during breaks of practice.
Once, they were both in haste and she forgot to pack her towel in her gym bag.
She was sweating badly but she only had an extra shirt on her gym bag so she couldn't really wipe her sweat off.
She was surprised when Mika went to her and offered her Mika's own towel.
Of course, Mika kinda used it already but Mika doesn't really sweat much. She always looked fresh.
Plus, she didn't care. Mika and her have shared a lot of things already. And she was used to getting sweaty with Mika.
The gesture caught her off guard that Mika got impatient and started wiping off the sweat on her face and neck.
"Inuuna mo kasi ang harot, hindi pa naman pala nakahanda gamit mo. Nakoooo," Mika chastised her.
Her face lit up.
Mika was being sweet to her in front of their teammates. She felt giddy.
But her happiness was short-lived.
"Besh?" Den called her.
"Here, oh. I have an extra towel."
She took the towel from Den's hand that was extended to her.
She looked at Mika and saw nothing on her face while looking at Den. Den was looking at Mika with confusion.
"Balik na ako, Den, Alyssa," Mika said as she was about to go.
She grabbed the towel Mika was holding.
"Mika, pwede hiramin ko na ng tuluyan itong towel? Puro pawis ko na rin naman, eh."
"No, okay lang," Mika replied coldly.
"Please? Palagay na lang sa likod ko," she pleaded sweetly.
Mika's eyes widened before the corner of her mouth turned up just a bit.
Mika knelt behind her and put the towel on her back.
