Guess who was gonna get killed when Mika wakes up? Yup, her. Most definitely her.
She slowly laid down Mika on the bed and laid beside her, just staring at her wife's sleeping form.
It was no easy feat carrying an unconscious 5'11 Mika Reyes from her condo to her car and from her car to where they are now, her bedroom in their house in Batangas. Add to that all the people she had to call to cover for her and Mika's absence in their respective trainings. Plus, her furious momager who was not happy with her after telling her her plans.
But there was no stopping her from the moment she woke up and felt the blanket covering her. Mika must have put it on her which showed that Mika still cared for her. And she felt extremely guilty for drinking and for causing so much pain to Mika. Then, she remembered just how enraged Mika was before that and she knew that the probability of Mika walking out on her was too high to risk.
So, yeah, she drugged Mika with sleeping pills and brought her here where Mika wouldn't be able to leave her and where no one would disturb them. She was desperate and she will do anything to fix their relationship.
Mika started stirring and she sat up to brace herself.
Mika slowly opened her eyes and her eyebrows automatically scrunched up as she started to look around. When their eyes met, she tried to smile at Mika.
"Good morning, Babe."
Mika sat up immediately.
"Nasaan ako? Anong nangyari?" Mika asked rapidly.
She reached for one of Mika's hand and held it tightly so Mika won't be able to let go.
"Relax lang, Babe. We're here in our house in Batangas."
"Batangas? How did we even get here?"
She could almost see the clogs turning inside Mika's head and she steeled herself. Oh, no. She was in great trouble.
"Pinatulog mo ba ako?! Did you drug me?!"
Mika pulled her hand and used both hands to push her on the shoulders and moved away from her.
"Babe," she said while attempting to move towards Mika.
"Wag kang lalapit sakin, Alyssa! Sasampalin talaga kita. Magpaliwanag ka!" Mika screamed.
She sighed and stayed at her spot. At least, Mika was giving her a chance to explain.
"Babe, I just wanted us to have a chance to talk," she started.
"Kaya pinainom mo ako ng pangpatulog?!This is kidnapping!" Mika hissed.
"Okay. I'm sorry for drugging you and for taking you here without your permission but I just wanted to make sure you wouldn't leave again!" she replied, full of emotions which somehow took Mika aback. "It's been a week since you walked out on me and for the past few days, I've been losing my mind! Maybe that's why I'm developing sociopathic tendencies and went as far as kidnapping you!"
"You don't have to shout!" Mika shrieked.
She didn't even realize her voice already got loud. But it's so hard to contain all her emotions.
"Look, Babe, I'm sorry for all these. I'm sorry I was stupid and I didn't realize how much I was hurting you. I'm sorry for asking you of things you shouldn't have to do. I'm sorry for getting drunk and I'm sorry for how I acted towards Ara last night," she said in one breath.
There really wasn't much she could do but ask for forgiveness and as she said those things, she looked Mika straight in the eyes so Mika would see how sincere and how sorry she truly was.
