They booked an early flight to Batanes to not risk the chance of being seen by fans. It was finally their sixth monthsary and this would be their first real vacation as a couple so they were both excited as hell.
Did you know that Mika was not really a morning person? Mika was asleep in the car and she kept yawning as they went through the process. She even had the feeling Mika might just suddenly fall down on the floor and sleep there so she took hold of Mika's left hand and interlaced their fingers.
Yes, they were still trying to avoid the public's eyes but they weren't gonna go out of their way to hide it either. In fact, personally, she would prefer it if they come out already. She thought it was time. She actually was excited to let everyone know that Mika's her girlfriend. She was sure she was gonna be with Mika for the rest of her life anyway so it wouldn't make a difference if people find out now. But Mika has never really formally announced any of her relationships before and Mika likes their quiet life so, yeah.
She chuckled to herself when she felt Mika's head on her shoulder. They were in line and Mika was behind her so Mika was leaning her forehead on her shoulder. She took both of Mika's hands and put it around her on her stomach, pulling Mika closer to her. Mika hugged her tighter before closing her eyes. She bet that if humans were able to sleep while standing up, Mika would be doing so already.
When they were on a bench waiting to ride the airplane, she put Mika's head on her shoulder so Mika could sleep a bit more. She took out her phone and took a picture of the both of them. She posted it on her facebook but only made it visible to herself. She has been doing that for quite a while now. She just liked sharing it, maybe not now but hopefully one day, to the world.
Inside the airplane, Mika was awake for only a bit and even suggested taking a picture before falling asleep again. Next time, she wouldn't book them an early flight because Mika just sleeps on her. Well, as it is, she decided to lean her head on Mika's head and took a nap, too.
When they arrived, Mika was as radiant as the sun when she saw the nature around them. Mika twirled in awe and smiled at her brightly. She smiled back.
"This is so beautiful, Babe!" Mika said excitedly while reaching for her hand.
"You're more beautiful though," she replied truthfully.
Out there, everything complemented Mika. The sun made Mika's skin glow, the breeze blew Mika's hair as if it was part of the wind, the sea made Mika seem like a part of a painting, and Mika herself was a masterpiece.
Mika suddenly hugged her tightly which made her loosen her grip on her suitcase.
"You're looking at me like I'm the only one you can see and it's making my heart crazy," Mika whispered.
She hugged Mika tighter. "Welcome to my world. That's how you always make me feel."
Mika bit her in the shoulder and when Mika moved back, she was biting her lower lips and her cheeks were flushed.
"I love you, Babe. Happy monthsary!" Mika said lovingly before taking her hand with hers.
"I love you, too, Babe. I can't wait to celebrate anniversaries with you instead of monthsaries," she replied.
She knew Mika wanted to kiss her right there and then but the it was not the proper place. They took their baggages and headed to the lodge first.
It was simple yet comfortable and Mika hogged the bed the moment they entered the room. She laughed at that while she went to the balcony to check the surrounding. So much nature. It was truly relaxing and astounding.
She felt Mika's arms went around her and Mika's chin laid on top of her left shoulder.
"Miss mo na ako?" she teased.
