Everything was going perfect between the two of them.
No matter how busy they were, they still did their best to find time for each other. Plus, they were always together at night.
Mostly, they stayed in her condo but there were times that they were in Mika's place as well.
Three days after Mika returned, they got the news that they were picked for the SEA games.
They, of course, wanted to celebrate together - just the two of them. That was not possible because they had to celebrate with their friends who also got in.
Mika went out with Kim and Ara. She went out with Den, Jho, Bea, and Jia.
But before they separated, Mika reminded her of the things she didn't like.
"Babe, kahit di mo ako kasama, ayoko ng masyadong clingy kay Den, okay? Selosa talaga ako."
"Babe, ayokong magpapakalasing ka. That's where we started and I don't want you starting something like that with someone else."
"I don't like worrying, Ly. Kaya please, mag-ingat."
Those were some of the things Mika told her. Mika didn't like a lot of things but what she wouldn't forget was what Mika said she liked.
"Babe, I don't mean to be constricting or anything. Alam kong marami akong ayaw. Pero ayaw ko lang naman ang mga iyon dahil sa iisang gusto ko," Mika looked her in the eyes sincerely. "And that's you, Ly. I like you."
She died inside with all the giddiness Mika was making her feel. Honestly speaking, she felt like she was the lucky one in their relationship.
She, of course, also asked Mika for a few things.
"Babe, can you update me when you can? I want to know where you are and what you're doing. I also get worried easily."
"Babe, please, not too close to Ara as well. I'm also kinda selosa, remember?"
"I'll try to get out of our get together earlier, do you think you can do the same? I want to celebrate with you, too."
Mika agreed to her demands, no questions asked.
They were both true to their words and that night, they celebrated by having a movie date with a few drinks.
They didn't actually understand the movie because they spent more time making out than watching it.
After the movie, they cleaned up and then went to sleep. Just sleep.
They were in bed, fully clothed, with the right half of Mika's body on top of hers as Mika laid on her front while she laid on her back.
They slept hugging each other.
They slept with a sweet good night and an even sweeter kiss.
It was funny because they used to need alcohol just to make love but now, they didn't want to do it with alcohol in their system.
They both agreed that before, they used alcohol to have an excuse. Now, there shouldn't be any excuses. If they decided to do it, it was because they both wanted to.
They didn't like excuses. They wanted the reality of it all.
But since they deprived themselves of each other that night, the next morning was the wildest morning they have ever shared.
