Alyssa wasn't able to play for the rest of the conference but Alyssa didn't take it badly. In fact, their lives went on normally after that. Alyssa went back to her work while she finished the conference with her team. Then, she focused on grad school and other projects.
As for their relationship, it was going great. Yes, she and Alyssa still have small arguments mostly about jealousy but it was nothing too serious that they couldn't resolve after a few minutes.
Alyssa's manager finally accepted her presence in Alyssa's life and they've actually crossed paths multiple times and they were civil.
The public still didn't know they were together. While some people were connecting them romantically, a lot were contradicting them. People seemed to find the thought of her and Alyssa being in a romantic relationship outrageous. Well, if you've told her a year ago that she would be married to and in love with Alyssa Valdez, she probably would have laughed her ass off and send you to a mental facility. It was that outrageous even to her before.
That meant more freedom for them to interact in public but they rarely do so anyway. And when they do, sometimes they still post countermeasures just to be safe. It was a preference. She and Alyssa both loved the peace and calmness they have away from the public.
She still can't stop herself from smiling when she remembers the past few interactions online she and Alyssa had over the past few weeks.

She was in her condo, resting, and craving for something. Alyssa was still at work and she was just bored. So she went on twitter and posted what she wanted like she usually did.

She was surprised to find a notification from Alyssa a few minutes later.

There even was a picture of two containers with champorado in it on the passenger seat. Don't ask her where Alyssa could have gotten that but she was thankful anyway.
She replied:
"Yaaaaaaaay! Can't wait! 😆😘"
A few minutes later, Alyssa was on her door holding the champorado on her hands.
She hugged Alyssa tightly before greeting her with a kiss and taking the champorado from her.
"I'm not sure whether you really were happy to see me or you just liked the fact that I brought you champorado," Alyssa said with a pout.
She put the champorado down on the dining table before facing Alyssa again.
"May nagpapalambing," she teased.
She saw how Alyssa tried to stop from smiling.
"Come here na nga," she said while opening her arms and Alyssa stepped inside.
She put her arms around Alyssa's neck while Alyssa put hers around her waist.
She looked Alyssa in the eyes before placing small kisses on Alyssa's cheeks, nose, before her lips. Alyssa responded immediately before taking the lead.
"You know na kahit wala kang dalang champorado, I would be happy as long as you come home to me," she whispered while leaning her forehead on Alyssa's.
Alyssa gave her that dimpled smile that she absolutely loves before claiming her lips again.
They enjoyed the champorado after.
