"I forgive you, but that's as far as I can go. I don't love you anymore Ambrose. We're never getting back together. Just go away." Larissa hated being in the same room with him. Ambrose refused to let go. "Larissa I love you, I really do" he walked one step closer to her. He stared deep into her eyes. She was hypnotized. He had used that trick before and it always worked. He put his arms around her waist and started gently stoking her cheek. "I know you still love me. Give me a second chance my princess." She couldn't move. She put her arms around his neck. She was falling for his seduction... again. "You're so beautiful" he whispered huskily in her ear. She was falling for his charm. But then he made a mistake. "Let's take this upstairs". That's when she snapped out of it. "You haven't changed one bit. Just go Ambrose." She let go of him. ' Stupid hormones ' he said to himself. He let go of her. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to come on to you too strongly. I want you to be mine again"
"You had your chance and you blew it. Please just go"
"Larissa..."
She opened the door, "get out"
"But Larissa..."
"No Ambrose. We're never getting back together. I don't love you anymore. Not now not ever." She meant it.
"What about our kids? Aren't you gonna introduce me to them" he was now grasping at straws. He had no idea that he had just lit the fuse.
"Kids? What kids? You don't have any kids. Last time I checked you wanted me to have an abortion. You practically rejected them. You have no kids." She was yelling at him.
"I want you as far away from my children as possible. They don't need a person like you in their life."
"You're being unfair" he realized too late that he had said the wrong statement.
"Unfair? You wanna know what unfair is? Unfair is when your boyfriend bets on you, gets you pregnant, cheats on you with your best friend then dumps you for her. Unfair is when after all that your parents kick you out of their house after discovering you're pregnant. Unfair is when every relative who used to help you out rejects you after discovering that your parents disowned you. Unfair is when you live on the streets for weeks eating garbage because your parents refused to forgive you. That's unfair. So don't ever open your mouth to tell be about being unfair. I'm the one who suffered. I struggled with those kids alone whilst you were busy banging that pathetic excuse of a friend called Cindy. I almost killed myself you know. Cause I had nothing left to live for. I nearly lost my sanity. I had to live in a brothel working as a prostitute to keep myself and my children alive. But it's all in the past now. It wasn't entirely your fault anyway. It was mine, for ever thinking that a stuck up rich guy who thinks he runs the world could ever truly fall for a girl like me. I'll never make that mistake ever again. I've learned my lesson. Thank you for showing me the light Ambrose. I really appreciate it. Good day."
Ambrose was speechless. Her words hurt. He had no idea just how much she had suffered until now. Working as a prostitute? She must have been really desperate. He left. He knew he needed to give her time to calm down. Then he would try to reason with her...again.
