Larissa went back to her house feeling exhausted. Seeing Ambrose with Cindy made her feel jealous. She hated it. The worst part was that Ambrose was gonna be at her house the next day. Things would be so awkward for her. On the bright side her kids would be so excited to meet their dad.
She would do anything in the world for them. She loved them. They were all she had.
She was lost in her thoughts when she heard a knock on the door. She dragged herself to the door and opened.
"Hey Larissa" it was Keith.
She didn't know how to respond. She felt like fainting. "You look like you've seen a ghost" Keith smiled at her. His smile was so beautiful.
"Hie Keith." That's all she could think to say to him. After deserting him for Ambrose she didn't think he'd want anything to do with her. "What are you doing here?"
"I came to see you Larissa. I missed you." He was amused at how surprised she looked. "I bought these for you" he said handing her flowers. They were very beautiful daffodils, her favorite flowers. She blushed, he still remembered. "Wanna come in?" She asked him. "No thanks. I want to ask you something"
"Uhmm.. Okay. Go ahead"
"Will you go on a date with me? This Saturday" that caught her off guard.
"Sure. Why not" she didn't hesitate.
"Awesome. I'll pick you up at 6 then". She still couldn't believe Keith had asked her out. He seemed different. More confident. Something he wasn't back when they were in high school.
