She had been on the run for over 6 years now. She was pretty slick. After attempting to defraud a company of over a million dollars and attempting to murder the CEO she sure as hell wouldn't wanna get caught. She was wearing a hoodie and sunglasses when she walked into the supermarket. She needed to buy some food supplies that would last her for  2 months. She was staying under the radar.
Her accomplices had been caught, she was the mastermind of the whole operation and she had escaped. There were ' wanted ' posters of her everywhere. She had to be extra careful.
She got in, bought everything she wanted and was outside within 15 mins. She had made it to her car. Not the getaway vehicle. A different car, a car she hadn't registered in her name. Everything was going great until a cop spotted her. She looked a bit tense. She was acting really nervous and her hands were kinda sweaty. She was even shaking. "You okay ma'am?" The cop asked noticing how weird she was acting. She was hiding something. He could tell. "I'm okay just feeling a little cold" she unlocked the door quickly. "Its over 65°C. Can I see some ID?"
"I left it at home I'm afraid" she was trying to sound convincing but was failing miserably. "Driver's license? You can't driver without one." She had a fake. The cop was onto her. "You're gonna have to come with me to the station".
That was the beginning of the end for her.

She had to remove the hoodie and glasses. She had dyed her hair red and cut it short so she wouldn't be recognized. That's how she had managed to evade the cops for so long. She never registered anything under her real name. She always used an alias. "Why do you have a fake license." She didn't have an excuse. She just kept quiet. "Well?" The cop looked frustrated.
They didn't recognize her. She could still get away. There was a glimmer of hope in her eyes.
"Wait a sec, that tattoo" that destroyed every bit of hope she had. "That tattoo showing on your chest, it looks familiar". If only she hadn't removed her jacket. "You're Sophie Miller, you're wanted for attempted murder and fraud". And that was the end of it. She couldn't deny it. She was tired of running. She was arrested immediately. " I've to make a phone call, a very important phone call " and it wasn't to her lawyer. She wanted to call Sterling and confess everything. He deserved to know the truth.
